Chi siamo

We have relocated to Dandridge TN as of 2022! But since 1985 in Maryland, my subcontractors & I have provided various "Home Improvement" services to homeowners, landlords, & business owners to repair, refurbish & remodel their property; I have also built several custom homes. I have over 40 years of experience in the construction industry & can handle any type of project you need accomplished. Since starting my own firm 31 years ago, I personally have done most of the work and/or supervised my subcontractors. I will help you stay on your budget by working together to achieve your goals. I can help you from the beginning ideas, through the design stage & on towards completion.

Mr Petit is a true professional! He provided me with expert assistant and advice for BOTH of my homes in Maryland and Delaware. He is meticulous with details, familiar with local building codes, and fully knowledgeable about the state of the art for specific repairs. Strongly recommend his company for any and all home remodeling projects! Thank you Petit Construction for your outstanding work!

We love our kitchen backsplash installation by Petit Construction, Inc. Mr. Petit explained the entire process and helped to complete the design vision I had in mind. I was concerned about some measurement imperfections from original construction of my home, but they were not a problem for Mr. Petit. The tile was meticulously cut and placed creating a beautiful backsplash. The project was professionally completed within the estimated time and with great quality and care. When my youngest child saw the kitchen, he said "Let's give 5,000 stars!"

We have worked with Mr. Petit, off and on, for 30 years. The relationship has been very satisfying for us. Projects have ranged from creating a new living space in an approximately 1500 square foot basement, to remodeling a first floor powder room, a rebuild of outside steps. Mr. Petit has consistently been honest, accommodating, and conscientious. The quality of his work is excellent. We are pleased to recommend him.

Petit Construction was hired to perform a series of repairs to our home [electrical, woodworking, painting]. All work was performed to our satisfaction, on schedule and at a reasonable price. Mr. Petit was very professional and pleasant to work with.

I was most impressed by Boyd's determination to do the job right and the pride he has in his work. We had a leak and rather than replacing the entire shower stall (as every other contractor recommended) he found the cause of the leak and repaired it. We had no issues with the tile in the shower and this approach saved us thousands. From talking to him, you can see that he has a great wealth of knowledge and experience.

Great experience! I particularly liked Mr. Petit's pricing plan that allowed me to do some of the work on my own to save costs. The quality of the work was excellent as was his schedule. I will definitely contract with him again for future work.

Boyd completely renovated our 25 year old kitchen a few years ago. Not a day goes by that we do not marvel at how pleased we are with the outcome! He is a very knowledgeable professional.

We loved working with Boyd. He built a screened-in deck off the back of our house. The design was exactly to our specifications, his budget estimate was well within the actual numbers (only increased because we added requirements), and he completed the work on time. Boyd brought in the additional licensed specialists when necessary (in our case, electrician). We recently moved, and it was obvious the deck Boyd built added value that fetched top dollar for our house. We look forward to working with Boyd again in the new home.

Miscellaneous handyman projects--hanging mirrors, towel racks, and paintings, assembling a metal closet, repairing kitchen cabinet doors, and many others. With electrician, installed cable lines for a TV. Reinforced deck for installation of spa. Other minor repairs.

In our opinion, Boyd Petit is honestly the best contractor we have ever worked with. And I have worked with plenty contractors over the years. He is highly qualified, professional, takes pride in his work, and a pleasure to work with. The work he did on our master bathroom was perfect and his recommendations were right on. The result was much better than I ever imagined. I have recommended him to many of my friends. My husband and I would not consider using anyone else!
