We cannot say enough good things about Mark Bittoni. He designed an extension and remodel of our 1960's house, and turned it into a spectacular view home. Mark's creativity enabled him to address existing layout problems in ways that other architects we interviewed never presented. He turned every challenge into a design statement. For example, his unexpected placement of a skylight took it from a simple light source to a featured attraction that casts gorgeous shadows on the main wall. Mark's attention to detail, inspired design, unfailing eye, and his friendly nature combined to give us our dream home. Mark's expertise as an architect is unassailable, but his people skills are what make him a joy to work with. Whenever we came up with our own ideas, Mark listened. His confidence is such that he can entertain any push-back with patience and good humor. He would render numerous versions of our concepts, so that we could make our own decisions. When we could see our ideas on paper, we would quickly realize that Mark's original design was optimal. It finally dawned on us that we could save time and stress by just listening to Mark in the first place. Mark Bittoni is a rare talent, and a rare individual. My wife and I bought a tear-down last year, and we hired Mark to design a completely new home for us. We couldn't be happier with Mark's work. We are still in construction, but the house is beautiful and exactly what we wanted (even though I'm sure we didn't always explain ourselves particularly clearly). Mark is a very talented architect, but I think his best quality is how much pride he takes in his work. He is regularly at our job site monitoring the progress and inspecting the quality of the work. And if something isn't just right, he takes it very personally and makes sure it's corrected to his satisfaction. He has our highest recommendation.

Mark is a very talented designer and architect. He did a complete remodel on our Malibu home and we couldn't be more pleased. He oversaw the complete transformation of our kitchen and multiple bathrooms and huge walk in closet. The finishes and products he helped pick were beautiful and he kept our budget in mind the entire time. We were impressed by his knowledge of kitchen showrooms and designer appliances. He has a great sense for what things cost and where to spend dollars and where you can save. I would highly recommend him.
