Having already done one loft conversion on a terraced house in Clapham using one of the pile-'em-high-sell-'em-cheap outfits, we decided we wanted to work with a builder more concerned with doing a quality job than stripping everything out and keeping the price rock bottom and maximising their cut. We did our research to make sure we made the right decision and chose Berry after a number of conversations with various conversion companies. The price was fair for the work to be done and in line with other quotes we received. Dan was very personable, knowledgeable and brought various members of the build team round to see the job before they began to ensure we could achieve the result we wanted, set our expectations and make sure everyone was clear on how the build would develop. We liked that they are a small tight-knit team and got to know them all very well. The fact they turned up every day for the entire build was a promising sign and set them well apart from the last team we worked with. They also gave us a lot of time and support during the build, accommodated a number of design tweaks and even came up with a few very sensible changes of their own. They used better quality materials than we were used to from the last project and the work done by all the trades - carpentry, roofing, plastering, plumbing and electrics - is excellent. All the guys who worked on the project were friendly, courteous, skilled and regularly went the extra mile to make it a more pleasant experience and help us achieve a quality and long-lasting result. We would engage them again without hesitation and certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal touch, reliability and high quality construction at a reasonable price.

Dan and his team converted our loft in Streatham Hill a few years ago. They did a brilliant job and we are totally satisfied with the work. It is not unusual for people to look at the unusual triangular window at the front of the house and comment positively. Everything was done to a high standard and the guys were all consummate professionals with a real pride in their work. A couple of years later Berry replaced some windows (nothing to do with the loft) and again we were really happy. The windows were not straightforward and I could not praise them more highly. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Dan and the team completed a full house renovation and loft extension and went the extra mile in all areas. The work was impeccable, completed ahead of schedule and with Dan and the others coming up with some great innovative ideas on the build structure and finish. We would thoroughly recommend them and they have gone on to work on a number of friends houses.

We chose Dan and the team for the extension to our terraced house in South West London back in 2015. We originally had the loft converted to provide a new master suite with a shower room. We were so impressed with the finished rooms and the way that Dan and Giacomo expertly managed the project for us that we got them to do the rear extension as well. The work has really enhanced the house and meant that what was a small London house is now a practical family home. We’re really pleased we chose Berry Construction for our work. They were originally recommended to us by a neighbour who had Dan’s team do their loft conversion and another neighbour, having seen our conversion has also commissioned Berry Construction to do their loft conversion and ground floor extension as well. Berry Consruction rennovated our two-bed first floor flat. The workmanship was first rate and all of the team were professional and considerate. We were expecting a new baby so had a short turnaround time for the work to be done. Berry Construction delivered, without compromising on quality. When we moved to a bigger place, we managed to find tenants for the flat within a few days of it being on the market.

When we were looking to have our loft converted 2 of our neighbours recommended Berry Constructions. The project was fairly stress free due to the excellent team of high quality tradesmen who were always good-humoured and polite when they came on site.

Berry Construction re-did our wetroom and re-wired most of our house and did a brilliant job. We were under time pressure as my wife was due to give birth a month or so later and we were trying to get the nursery completed in time. It's lucky we did the work as some of the electrics were very old and verging on dangerous, which we hadn't realised until Steve and his team came in. In addition, we discovered the previous wetroom hadn't been waterproofed properly, which is why it had been leaking. The new wetroom is really spectacular and we feel confident that it won't leak. Steve had lots of clever suggestions which we wouldn't have thought of, which is the sign of a great service. We've actually now found a new house and if we manage to buy that we will be asking Dan, Steve and the team to come and do a large extension and complete refurbishment. We would definitely want them to work on any future projects we have.

Berry Construction converted our loft in Herne Hill and did a fantastic job. The rooms are bright and spacious. The builders who worked on the project were friendly and polite and most importantly kept the rest of the house as clean as possible during the works! We're so pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them - in fact we're hoping to use them again on a new project soon.

Dan and his team did an absolutly amazing job on our loft conversion and we couldn't be happier. The guys were polite, tidy, efficient and above all considerate of our living space and the general stresses of going through a build. I would highly recommend Berry Construction as a safe pair of hands.
