My complaint is that Artistic Iron refuses to complete the job they were hired to do. Sometime in January I visited the showroom of Artistic Iron Works and spoke to Jeese Sandoval Field Foreman and Salesman and Dave the manager about some custom iron gates with glass inserts. They had a gate in the show room that I liked , but the glass did not match my garage doors, and the iron work had to much detail and I wanted clean modern lines. Dave said they could do that so I scheduled a estimate and measurement to be completed by them. On January the 30, 2018 at around 1000 hours, Jesse Sandoval from Artistic Iron works came to my house. Jesse took measurements and drew up design plans for the gates. I showed him my new garage doors and asked him could he match this glass. Jesse told me to go too Beals Royal Glass 6420 S. Arville 89118 and Glass Supply 2975 S. Highland . Glass Supply did not have the glass I needed and Beals Royal Glass had moved. I called Jesse and he gave me another address 6450 S. Cameron, and I went there. They showed me the glass samples they had, and none of them matched my garage doors. I contacted Jesse and he told me to go to Kelly's Glass. I spoke with James P. Hilton there and he showed me a sample that matched. I called Jesse and told him they had the correct glass. Jesse told me they would make the gates and they would then drop them off at Kelly's Glass so they could install the glass. When that was completed they would pick the gates up and contact me with a installation date. I went to Artistic Iron Works showroom and hired them on 02/12/2018 to build two custom gates with glass inserts. I paid $1907.00 on 02/12/2018 to get the job started. Total cost of the job was $3815.00. My balance was $1908.00 Jesse signed the Proposal. It took them about 5 weeks before they completed my gates. Then they just showed up at my house without calling. I live in a guard gated facility and the guard called my on my cell phone . One of the guys delivering the gate called me later and I asked him how come no one called me to set up an installation date and time. The driver said he did not have my phone number. Which made no sense since they had all my information. I later got a call from their office and we set up a install date on April 6, 2018 after I returned from a two week trip to Japan. At around 1500 hours, Chris and another guy don’t know his name showed up with the gates. The gates had no glass and the side panel for one gate needed to be cut and the legs needed to be longer and one base did not fit on the block wall. Chris took new measurements, drew out a new design and took pictures with his phone. I also took pictures with my phone. He said the fabricators would redo the panel so it would fit, he also said the glass would be installed. Chris quit working there sometime after this job. On April 23, 2018 I contacted Jesse since it had been 17 days since my last install visit. Jesse responded on April 24, 2018 and stated the gates were repaired and powder coated and he was checking to see if they were dropped off at the glass shop. About three weeks went buy and someone name Jose called from Artistic Iron Works and apologized for all my inconvenience and offered me some artwork out of their showroom. I told him I just want my gates so I could secure my backyard. He said he would send me some pictures of what yard art he could offer me for my patience. On May 15, 2018 a two new guys Jose and his brother came to my house to I install the gates. The gates still had know glass inserts. I told JOSE to call Jesse and Jose said Jesse quit. Jose called the office and he said the his boss said install the gates. I told him to hold on, so I could speak to his boss. I spoke with Dave Spruell the General Manager and he said he was not installing the glass because I went to Kelly's Glass. I explained to him that Jesse told me to go there and Dave called me a liar and told me to call Jesse. I told him Jesse quit working for you I don't have his personal phone number. After Dave continued to argue and trying to intimidate me. I ended the phone call because I refuse to let someone yell at me and I don't work for him. The lead installer Jose said they told him to see if the gates fit. He installed the first gate then went to install the second gate with the panel and they still did not make changes to the panel. So he made measurements and took pictures. When he was leaving I asked him what about the other gate he said Dave told him to leave that gate they are not doing the glass. On May 16 at around 1500 hours, I went to Artistic Iron Works to speak with Dave. When trying to discuss the project with Dave he started yelling at me like I was one of his employees. I told him the he should be trying to make things right for taking 5 months to make two gates. He started yelling that it's my fault and we record all phone calls. Which is illegal if you do not tell incoming calls that the lines are recorded. I know this because I worked 30 years in law enforcement. He also accused me of changing the contract proposal. It's not my hand writing and Jesse told me to go to Kelly's Glass he called me a liar. I then told him about the side panel that needed to cut a welded again because the legs were to short, and they have been sent back twice and nothing has been done. Dave started yelling at me saying that the work could have been done on site. I again told him I'm not your employee stop yelling at me and your workers should have done that. He continued yelling so I got up and left because he does not listen just yells. I also told him I see why the guys that come out to my house hate working for you and they all are quitting. Later that day I got a call from there office to come install the gates tomorrow. I told them that would be okay. On May 17, 2018 at around 0900 hours, Jose and his brother came back to install the last gate with no glass. The side panel legs were still to short, but they did cut one of the legs base so the panel fits better on the wall. Jose used pieces of metal to fill in the gaps on the legs. He then tried to cover everything with black caulking. He also left a big hole in my house exterior wall. I sent pictures to Artistic Iron and they will be attached to this email. The guys were taking a long time and I had a doctor appointment at 1230 hours, and had to leave. They left the glass inserts on the side of my house and they did not fit. I called Artistic Iron and spoke to Tracy I asked to speak to Dave, she said he was not their. She called me back and said Dave said that they have to fit because they were fitted with the gates. She told me Dave said match the holes on the frame to the holes in the gate. I explained to her there were no holes in the door frame just on the inserts, therefore they did not fit them to the doors. On May 18, 2018 I received an email from JoAnn Pruitt requesting $1908.00 for a job that is not completed. I replied to her email with the conversation I had with Tracy and pictures of the shabby sloppy work and poor powder coat finish . I also told her that you are charging me for glass and you did not have the glass installed. After Checking she sent a new invoice requesting $743.00. Artistic Iron Works is requesting final payment, while refusing to come out to my house and finish the job. They refuse to return phone calls. Dave the Manager refuses to reply to my left messages. Dave has others in the office to call or send emails. When I call they just leave me on hold then disconnect. I will not be paying any payments not until I get what I am paying for. If my glass come's back and they have not corrected the insert problem. I will pay one of there competitors to finish the work and Artistic Iron will not be paid anymore funds. GLEN LEWIS

Quality product Was a problen with a wrong widow screen but they made it right and even came back to repsir dome chops in the stucco

Top quality, creative to work with. Offered me several options as I had several challenges with small dogs as well as wanting safety covered with my gate.

Great work and the product is beautiful. Allotted time frame way off though..was promised within two to three weeks but after seven weeks I decided to call them. Answer: " No problem - we'll come and install in two days." Obviously a lack of communication somewhere, however nice finished product so quite happy.
