Jane is super committed to her work and having a design workshop with her was both really helpful and inspiring. She came up with lots of creative solutions to my tricky Victorian home's old fashioned layout. She also really listened to the points I had made about how we use the house and didn't try to impose her own ideas, though I did appreciate her focus on being energy efficient. I would recommend her whole heartedly.

Conservation area planning requires an added level of professionalism, patience and knowledge. All of which ultimately led us to working with Jane on our project. Jane was collaborative and managed to keep step in step with the planners to achieve a sucessful outcome.

We had our initial meeting with Jane, i-Architects in February where we discussed our project. Jane explained the role of an architect and discussed the service options available to us. She took us through the processes involved from an initial sketches to planning etc. After meeting with other Architects we decided to take our project forward with i-Architects because we felt Jane understood what we were aiming to achieve and gave us confidence in her abilities to manage the project. We are very excited to be working together.

Day consultation, with view to deliver continued support. Jane's advice and help has been invaluable. Within 30 mins she had helped us understand the planning and restrictions due to the sewage pipes running the back of our property. She took her time to read all the information we had sent her, talked through the options on layout and design, then walked us through any concerns we had and discussed possible solutions. Jane turned around initial sketches within days and her continued support in talking with planning and the utility company has been execellent.

We interviewed a number of architects and builders to find the right solution for our house extension. Jane was the only one who proposed a different approach to the first floor layout, offering light, space and architectural design elements. The design offers practicality and style and has accommodated all our requirements. Jane is very accommodating and flexible when a change is required. Her problem solving abilities more than justify the costs of employing an architect, particularly if you are looking for something more extraordinary than "design and build" has to offer. She is a great listener and communicator.

Jane came highly recommended and I'm more than delighted to extend that recommendation. We were looking for help to pull our loose ideas about how to enlarge our kitchen, within some quite restrictive guidelines and Jane was able to come up with some fabulous ideas that ticked all our boxes and then some. Jane was an excellent listener and translator who took our ideas and provided comprehensive sketches to help visualize our thoughts. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jane in the future.

I contacted Jane when we wanted to extend our house to add a new room and replace an existing (but dilapidated) utility room. Jane offered a knowledgeable and insightful perspective on the project, and suggested we converted our garage rather than extend, as it could save us money. This we did. From the start of the project, Jane provided a professional and practical service, allowing us to choose from a 'shopping basket' of services she could provide for us. We chose for Jane to provide a light-touch project management role, which involved drawing and submitting the plans, dealing with building control, structural engineer, and quantity surveyor, dealing with the tenders for the job and dealing with the builders during the build. This worked out really well for us, it being our first project and having busy day-jobs. We were kept informed at each step, and consulted when appropriate. Jane had to contend with an unusually shaped roof, which was replaced, raised and extended, together with sound-proofing designed into the construction. She also managed to make clever use of the space to include not only the required downstairs loo, but a shower room, which together with the new music room has effectively created a 'guest wing'. We are very pleased with the result - the new brickwork and roof sit alongside the existing house as though part of the original build, thanks to Jane's attention to detail
