We searched for a while to find the company we thought would be best to renovate our master bathroom. We picked a winner when we selected Allen Kitchen and Bath. Joe came to our condo and looked over the jacuzzi we wanted removed, the shower we wanted moved, the vanity we wanted replaced. He worked with us at his office to plan the details. He stayed in touch as the project proceeded. Clark, the lead carpenter and main contact for the work, was superb to work with. The new finished shower – no door, very spacious, great fixtures – is a delight to use. The look of the bathroom is beautiful. We are so happy that we chose Allen and so grateful to Joe and to Chad and their team for making this all happen.

We were extremely knowledgeable, replaced and installed a broken timer for our sprinkler system in the quickest turnaround and also advised us on our kitchen cabinet door replacement options which our previous irrigation company never did because they only sent their servicemen to switch on and switch off. Allen and his team were very hands on and we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Allen does a great job of staying on budget and completing on time. They have quality tradespeople and a great office staff. I always know what to expect and when it is happening. They will give you as much (or as little) guidance as you need. They have done my master bath and kitchen and I’m so very pleased.

UGH... Allen Kitchen and Bath has great service, smiles, and communication - UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY. We started working with them in May. We were given a timeline for our remodel to start July 20 and be completed by November 17. Allen K&B recommended a name/place to use for financing - which we used to streamline the process (figuring they had a good working relationship). Laree wanted/suggested money up front to get started with the permits, etc... which she would reimburse us for when financing came through (and she wrote this in our paperwork and 'does it all the time'). As soon as this significant deposit (+10k) was given to them, Laree was unable to be reached or return an email/phone call. Amerifirst, who was doing the financing had a difficult time communicating with Allen as well... so much so that we had to resend updated documents and push our closing date back several times. By OCTOBER, we realized these were NOT the people to trust with our big project. When we finally told them we were done, they made time to see us. They gave every excuse as to why there’s been no communication (finger pointing/spam folders/closed down for 8 weeks... and didn’t even notify us!). When we requested our deposit back, they were quick to say that much of it was spent... ‘We spent $6,000 on the architects’ - which our contract states $2,000. So, our 30 day financing turned into 4+ months, and $2,000 turned into $6,000. We have yet to see any receipts. What a nightmare.

Unprofessional, incompetent, unresponsive, and unethical. Used our project money to pay their overhead business exenses instead of for materials for our project. DO NOT do business with them.

This customer ordered a kitchen remodel but was transferred. We never did any work for them and refunded the deposit less the sales person's commission that had been paid out.

I researched five separate companies. I chose Allen because Laree seemed to get what I wanted done. We had to cancel the remodel of our master bath twice due to family emergencies. Everyone at the company knew what was going on in our life & could not have been more accommodating & understanding. We needed the bath done by the first week of August. I was sure because of our cancellations, it would not be done. Because they understood our issues, they promised it would be done. Not only was it done, the quality of workmanship and the kindness & understanding of everyone that works at Allen - I was over the moon on the outcome! My bath is beautiful - better than I could have imagined! Laree did get me - actually more than I got myself. Everyone that works for them does quality work & cares about what you think. I am so very happy I went with them. They weren't the least expensive nor the most expensive of all that we had give us estimates and ideas. We had friends that contracted with what would have been our second choice. Their project was started one month before our bath & didn't finish until a month after ours - both master bath remodels. The attention to detail, the kindness of the staff & the quality are wonderful. I will go to Allen Kitchen & Bath for my next project without hesitation. If I could give ten stars I would.

Laree helped me to design a plan for our Master Bathroom. Remodeling is an overwhelming process, but Laree was very patient and knowledgeable. We came up with a design for our Master Bath that was clean, simple, yet elegant--and in our budget. Thank you Laree for helping us wade through the myriad of tile choices, cabinets, hardware, even grout colors!

Allen Kitchen & Bath did a wonderful job on our Kitchen remodel. Although we encountered a few unexpected glitches in the project, such as a permit issue, and a load bearing wall (which Allen addressed & paid for!) things went pretty smoothly. It did take a bit longer than originally quoted,due to those issues{like close to five months) but some of the other delays I think could have been avoided. They were in transition with the staff, so that created some confusion about our orders, which effected the time frame. Once we got past that, the quality of workmanship was very professional. Laree was extremely helpful with the design ideas, and was very mindful of trying to keep within the budget. Having never had such a major project done before, she was great in reassuring me when I was worried about how every detail was going to work.....and she was right! We have the beautiful, efficient kitchen we wanted & it was worth the wait! Thank you Allen Kitchen & Bath for making our vision a reality!

There definitely were a couple glitches that took some time to resolve. First, after obtaining the building permit and starting work the inspector realized this property is in a flood plain which limits what improvements can be done. We solved that one and then found that a drop ceiling concealed a beam supporting the roof rafters. We brought in our architect who was able to specify a steel flitch plate that we fastened to the side of the existing 20' beam to solve the problem. After that things moved along much faster. Great couple to work with and I hope they will enjoy this new kitchen for years to come. Gary Allen

From the design to the workmanship, everything turned out beautifully! The designer and carpenter were friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience so positive. I never imagined my kitchen could look as beautiful as it does and be as functional as it is. The design is truly remarkable and unique. And best of all, even with the minor hiccups that are inevitable when remodeling Allen took great care to stay within my budget!

Having worked with Allen Kitchen and Bath for a number of years, either preparing Drawings for their Brookfield and Madison Retail Stores, solving Construction Structural Problems or just reviewing Existing Conditions at various Customer Residences, I have enjoyed my association with Gary and Laree immensely and have never once heard one of their Customers ever complain about their contacts with Allen Kitchen and Bath. With these facts in mind, my recommendation can only be of the "highest" rating during my dealings with their Business.
