Affordable Kitchen Company redesigned my kitchen and most recently upgraded my ensuite bathroom. They are friendly and extremely professional and I was delighted with the results of both the kitchen and bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for my next project.

Trying to decide on a kitchen renovator is the most terrifying thing you can do. My gut was in constant turmoil for fear that I would make a bad choice and get ripped off. It's happened a few times so I had reason to be concerned. But after visiting three companies and explaining what I would like and what my budget was, The Affordable Kitchen Company is the only one that actually used the kitchen measurements and gave me a rendering of what I had envisioned. And it was lovely but with their guidance they offered an even better option and reasons for the suggested layout. I needed storage and boy, did I get it. I didn't want an all white kitchen and Rudina offered several suggestions and worked out what I would like very quickly. Without her help I would still be deciding on what colours would work from the hundreds of choices. Both her and Ron kept the job from becoming overwhelming for me and calmly walked me through everything. The crew that took the kitchen apart and put it back together were fantastic and fun to have in the house. There really isn't anything you can do while the work is going on but as I checked on the progress and asked questions the men were very respectful of "Telling me why that can't be done". Every time I looked in, I was amazed at how fast the work was getting done and what a great job Wes and his team were doing. We completed an extensive kitchen renovation with The Affordable Kitchen Company in April 2023, removing and replacing flooring and countertops, installing new cabinetry, appliances, hardware, ceiling and task lighting, plumbing, gas fitting, electrical and painting. Our new kitchen is modern and efficient with a functional, reconfigured layout, meeting all our expectations. Ron and Rudina are knowledgeable, experienced, professional, courteous, understanding and patient. They assisted and advised through all project phases from visioning to completion. This included product selection from a variety of styles and finishes of quality materials in their attractive and well-appointed showroom. Rudina has an excellent eye for colour and design, the final selections work well together and with other fixed elements in our home. They made numerous site visits to take measurements, confirm materials, colour and styles selection and again at strategic times of delivery and installation. They also recommended a source for appliances which helped expedite the process. Communication was excellent. Ron and Rudina responded promptly to emails, corresponded regularly with updates and coordinated with their contractor throughout. The contractor and his team of tradespeople are experienced, professional, skilled, organized, punctual, courteous, clean and tidy, and made sure everything was finished to our satisfaction. The overall quality of work and materials are excellent, reflecting attention to detail. Preparation and installation were completed on time and within budget. Although we had a vision, Rudina recommended options we never considered and we are creative people. Rudina provided renderings so it was easy to visualize the complete kitchen. They looked after everything. Anton, the main contractor, was a perfect fit for us as was Matt. They were incredibly organized, tidy and professional. There were never any issues. Everything fit perfectly as the measurements were so precise. The kitchen was completed in the 6-week time frame they gave us. They communicated every step of the process. The quality is unsurpassed. They certainly are the dream team. They made our kitchen dream a reality with the most beautiful kitchen I could have ever imagined.

We can’t thank Ron and Rudina enough for their knowledgeable and enjoyable partnership in a recent, extensive renovation to our condominium. The scope of the project included the kitchen and two bathrooms as well as flooring and other changes throughout….essentially a “gut job”. Together, and with us, Ron and Rudina demonstrated a fine balance between recommending design choices from their experience while artfully pulling design choices out of us. Their showroom was well equipped with samples to guide our selections; the final combinations worked perfectly and we’re delighted with the results. Ron and Rudina were a pleasure to work with in planning and executing our new kitchen.
