Robert and his team came to our home in the northern suburbs of Chicago to refinish all the hardwood on the 1st floor. No small task as the home is large. I wasn't sure of the color I wanted but with Robert's skill in blending colors, the perfect color was mixed. The floor is beautiful! I would not recommend anyone else except him. He is very patient, calm, professional, a perfectionist and a very nice guy too!! Thank you and your team Robert!

Custom Finish Wood Floor installed wood floors in my lake house. The install was extremely difficult since the house was 95 years old and nothing was level. They did a great job and were very easy to work with. They also refinished about 1000 square feet of existing flooring with outstanding results. Very professional, knowledgable craftsman.

We hired Robert to remove tile in our foyer and replace it with red oak and then refinish the wood in our kitchen, dining room and hallway. Robert was very professional with a great deal of attention to detail. Robert married the old and the new wood perfectly. He covered our cabinets and put plastic up to help contain the dust to the area under construction. He removed custom window treatments and replaced them upon completion. Robert arrived to start the project on time and completed the project just as promised. The results are beautiful! I would hire him again without any reservations.

Since we were new to wood flooring and had many questions, they patiently gave us a top rate education about flooring options, installation techniques, and everything else. When the day came for the job, all the installers were pros. I like to watch the folks I hire very carefully and was so impressed with them -- the crew were all seasoned craftsmen who clearly knew their trade. Our floor had some specialized needs that I wasn't sure could be met but CFWF solved the problem -- perfectly. These folks are master craftsmen. The job was a flawless work of art and finished on time. To be honest, my wife wanted wood floors but I didn't. But since they've been in I can't even count the number of times I've complimented them to her. She always says "I told you so." And I'm not sorry to admit -- she's right! (And don't tell Robert but the price was too low for the job we got!).

Team delivered as agreed. The installation portion done earlier was top notch and the subsequent finishing work on the floors was beautiful. His crew arrived and completed project as agreed. There was good clean-up and I would recommend to others and use for other work myself.
