Houtje TouwtjeThis crazy six-headed Pilea family has been living in this relatively shallow pot for a couple of years. They are never exposed to direct sunlight, but do get bright daylight all the time in the living room. This keeps the plant healthy, as you can see on the thick dark green leaves. Houtje TouwtjeThis is the craziest Pilea of our collection. It's about four years old and one of the oldest we have. We call it our Godmother Pilea, because it keeps on giving new babies and keeps growing. The secret? It was never repotted, it sits in a window on the east side of the house, so only get's a little morning sun and the rest of the day just daylight and once a month we add a little plant fertilizer to the water. Houtje TouwtjeIf you decide to keep your Pilea in the same pot for a while and take good care of it (water just once a week or when the soil is dried out), you will probably discover a few baby Pileas growing next to the big plant.
