Windows, traditional, transom, and clerestory
Look, I don't think it is unrealistic to expect these homeowners to move out so I can move in. Fixed and operable casement windows, all operating in the direction for best air flow. The custom interior doors in rustic, recycled wood, plus the combination of new meeting old in eye-catching design is all a good thing.
What you see pictured, is not just a gorgeous kitchen with beautiful casement windows, You see a smart, money saving tip! Not all of their casement windows are operable, they don't need to be! Saving money on casement windows, which are often the most expensive of the window family, can be as simple as alternating fixed windows and operable windows. On the long wall, only 2 of the windows operate, the rest are fixed. This allows for air flow where you need it, and some savings where it isn't necessary.

I'm almost too distracted by the fire and pool to notice those radius windows.. almost.
That grille profile is gorgeous. We love the wood interior options.
Matching window frames of a gorgeous walnut or mahogany to your doors is a great way to keep continuity when you're switching between brands or styles.
we LOVE that they have matched the 3/4 view entry door has 3 lites that match the windows. #thoughtfuldesign
Those mahagony window frames are so elegant and understated. Using exotic woods in your frame is a great way to play up the drama and add depth due to the gorgeous wood grains.
those transoms over the windows though!
Sometimes you need a palladium window over your kitchen sink..
Look at those Jeld-Wen windows. the black sash and frame really work for many styles of house.

Andersen windows in a bungalow style
that oversize door has ample room to allow guests to roam freely, what we love most is that for those who have multuple panels of doors side by side, we can replace those smaller door units with one large one. this look is attainable!
WE LOVE THAT VIEW. The trim detailing draws the eyes and makes the windows the focal point. brilliant.

Andsersen's windows moving with the ceiling line and that big stacking door opens up wide for a flawless indoor outdoor living space.
clerestory windows acting like a transom and those sliding doors..
Andersen 400 series
Yep.
I wish we had more architecture like this in Charlotte, the queen city needs some Mediterranean and Spanish influence, we have doors that would be a perfect fit for this charming space.
transom, sidelights, and an Andersen 3000 or 4000 series storm door make a great and unexpected wine cellar out of a nook. (Doesn't hurt that you can still lock the storm door..)
E Series Windows
We can do a moody modern install, we wouldn't mind a bit.
those windows. that trim, that back door.
we ADORE how the designer incorporated Andersen windows throughout the backsplash, it lets in extra light, and the vinyl finish won't be damaged by washing dishes at your kitchen sink.
