Love the tiers! As long as there are some reasonable paths to reach veggies, potentially great design if tiers kept offset/irregular a little. Not sure how to make it flow into rest of yard; perhaps curved plantings and edging around angular veggie beds? If stone, beds themselves could have some curve, too.
1. Love the smooth modern feel of the raised beds; wood somehow escapes 'rustic' but the modern aspect isn't cold or sterile. 2. Fantastic combo of shapes/colors/textures planted. Similar feel of landscaped planters somehow smoothly transitioning into identical veggie/herbs planters would be incredible.
Nice varying heights of the planters. Like it a lot.
Depending on layout, the simple cor-ten planters have a lot of potential.
Love the stacked stone of the top right planter
Like these edges a lot; not so much on the cement blocks, but similar color.
Nice stone, with subtle decorative edge. something other than gravel beneath, though, whether stamped concrete, groundcover, deck, etc.
really like alternate material interspersed with lawn; perhaps irregular pavers that match the stone in the patio at the rear of the property? Would interspersing stone in areas where we can tell there are no roots, with sod or larger areas of groundcover where there are, be an option?
really nice varied tiers and mixed materials
Again, nice stone+green+irregular edges feel. Planning on stamped concrete in patio area; this might be too busy but I like the pattern.
partial arbor over courtyardy-feel sitting area would be awesome, maybe with silver lace vine (Fallopia baldschuanica)? I love how densely it grows.
Made me think about the stairs from the top deck - not really happy with the open risers looking into dead space, especially if we close the rest in. Maybe stone facade risers or similar?
general feel of this is lovely
Mostly a note to self: wow, frickin' love the built-in cold frames on these raised beds.
Love the secluded (and wind/weather protected) courtyard feel here, and the nice contrast of pale brick and greenery.
Stone plus groundcover-type plants that flow over their surfaces and between the cracks = drooling
Second pic of project; maybe too angular transition between gravel and slate, but again - replace gravel with deck, and I like the effect a lot.
really nicely irregular lines while still having a great form; I could see something like this with deck replacing the slate
too modern and blocky (and probably not interested in concrete), but I love the combination and overlap of materials
Love the climbers breaking up the stark wall
You probably already get this, but wanted to point out something too 'polished' and regularly curved.
Always a huge fan of that type of rough stone worked into plants and a functional design
nice cut-ins of greenery into the deck
Hey, let's do this! Just kidding. Awesome, though.
