Master Bathroom
Note how bottom rail is only about an inch wide, which means I could have mirror lower to suit my height.
Height of wainscot tiles (39”)
Backsplash, moulding, Medicine cabinets
Type of legs on cabinet could look good on vanity.
Cafe shutters
Narrow tub deck and streamlined tub
Paneled surround goes with beadboard walls.
Taupe walls, Carrara
Taupe walls and Carrara
Ogee on the crema marfil. Chrome faucets. Prefer square sink.
Vanity shape, beige and white, shutters. Ogee on crema marfil countertop.
Vanity legs, beige and white. Ogee on crema marfil countertop.
"Pacific Heights Traditional Bathroom, San Francisco." Continuation of other photo...similar to our bathroom layout and looks great. Could do this in Urban Putty and Dreamy Marfil.
"Pacific Heights Traditional Bathroom, San Francisco." Note to self: Read his notes! Actually responded to people's questions! Wall between shower and tub is 42" high. Tall (4-foot), recessed medicine cabinet(s), tub surround molding, subway tile, window treatment...like entire look.
Similar floor to mine. Crema marfil marble countertop.
Pale blue with cream, floor similar to mine. Like vanity too. See other photos.
Great ogee on quartz.
Caesarstone Dreamy Marfil, nice ogee, cabinetry.
Similar floor to mine. Counter is créme marfil marble.
Crema Marfil countertop, Bursa Beige Mini Brick pattern. Interesting that faucets don't match knobs, but everything still looks great. The paint is Ralph Lauren's Burlap and the ceiling is Restoration Hardware "Linen," per designer. The cabinetry is Woodharbor's " Light Mocha". Sinks are Marzi “DD.”
Daltile Urban Putty combined with Carrara marble...interesting. DalTile Urban Putty + TEC grout bright white 910
"Henry the Dog's" house from our neighborhood, same model. Great shower.
"Henry the Dog's" house in our neighborhood. Our model. Note that there is no step out of bathtub. Must have bumped out the vanity wall to hide the chimney?
Herringbone Dal Urban Putty subway tile, framed with inset shelf (for shampoos instead of cooking oils)
Daltile Rittenhouse Matte Urban Putty
Something like this in master bathroom. Shutters should be high enough for privacy, and we could make a leaded glass "valance" to hang beneath upper window frame.
Framed wainscoting, nice window trim, roman shade, and bottom shutters.
Shape of tub
Height of wainscoting and relationship to window
Waterworks Pumice tile, Calacutta mosaic tile on shower floor, Carrara marble on vanity.
Like the color scheme and gray island with Calacatta marble. Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Aura Arctic Gray 1577Trim Color: Benjamin Moore White Dove. The shades are bamboo and purchased at either Lowes or Pier One. Hunter Douglas also sells a similar bamboo shade; could be Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Wood Shades.
Beautiful kitchen. Maybe I could incorporate some of these elements into my master bath...cabinetry, antique brown granite, etc.
Note chrome faucet with dark knobs. It looks good. Best kitchen decor: Dog!
Like the look of this kitchen and would like take elements of it for master bath.
Flat-panel wainscoting, tiles in shower.
Very similar layout to our master bath, including the crazy vertical "soffit" running down the wall next to the vanity. I understand it has some critical pipe innards behind the drywall, so there's no removing it. Designer Janice Peters has many photos of this lovely bathroom. Thank you, Janice! (Just wish you would answer the other Houzzers' questions, though.)
Niche looks good with subway tiles.
From Houzz (Novo Domus): "The shower seat turned out beyond my expectations...Hauteville Limestone from France. Makes a great combination with the Crema Marfil." (This is the same as the vanity counter material, so if I decided to do, say, beige quartz on countertop, the excess slab could be used for shower seat?)
Nice, clean look of crema marfil subway on walls and 1" tumbled crema marfil on shower floor.
Terracotta floors and Carrara tub surround, gray subway tiles.
Great selection from this company (heathceramics.com). There is a store on Beverly Blvd., too. I like the subtle variation on this tile. They have all kinds of green shades as well as tons of other colors.
"This Rohl faucet is part of the Country Bath Collection and is called Viaggio." From Houzz.
Tiles, proportion of framed tile work.
Darker paint on top?
