I like the banquette sofa in this room.
This is the quintessential old fashioned "eat-in" kitchen...It is what Grandmother and Aunt Blanche's kitchen was supposed to look like in my childhood.
This is a more modern version...The light and open space in this kitchen is stunning. I'm in love with it!
Bleached, weathered, and white-washed wood are always good in my book...
For me this is a perfect color and finish on the china cabinet, chairs, and floor. I like the contrast with the natural wood tones.
Perfect gray walls...the silver Windsor chairs are a nice touch.
I like the stark quirkiness of this room...its contrast of textures...it's sense of feeling almost like a teacher's lounge/employee dining room sort of space. I think I'd want windows, though.
Here's another good combined dining/library space...
This lovely table is at home with an eclectic collection of chairs. It would be equally comfortable in a more formal arrangement.
I love the colors in this room...both the warm natural and cool greyed wood tones...the hazy beach glass blue-greens...the clean white...touches of blackened metal...it's all lovely.
This sun-porch dining room is most pleasant.
Pleasant, relaxing, light filled...
Formal dining at it's casual best...
The wood tones here are lovely.
Here's another true "eat-in" kitchen...I love the table...and I've always loved the idea of a functional fireplace in the kitchen.
This has an old world European or Tuscan atmosphere.
A tree house makes a perfect spot for dining al fresco.
Earthy simplicity...
This is a more formal space, but still open, simple, uncluttered.
I love the natural textures and rustic simplicity...This kitchen, living, and dining space is one large open room with cozy gathering "pockets"...attractive and efficient.
Here's another favorite cottage space...
This is close to what I had in mind for our Windsors...the colors are fresh without being too sweet.
This could easily be a multi-purpose space...dining, studio, school room..
This table is similar to one that I have had for a number of years that has served as both a dining table and a work surface in my art studio. These chairs complement it nicely.
I really like the built in "side board" that takes up the entire wall of this dining room.
Bright and inviting...
This beautiful sun room/dining space is a welcoming trans-seasonal delight...
I love white...
I love the windows, the chairs, and the silver tree!
What a delightful breakfast room...
I like the earthy warmth of this room...
I love the textures and muted tones of wood and stone.
I'm loving the furnishings chosen here...
I love the sideboard and shelving in this room...
I love this recessed cabinet...and the color on the chairs...
Lovely...
Charming...I like the colors, textures, slate floor, huge mirror, pendant lights, white linen tablecloth, white walls, books on the staircase...filtered light...
I love the light, texture, and character of this room...
What a simply lovely room...stone, linen, wood, glass, water, light...
How utterly lovely...Though I'd never do such an elegant room myself, I've included it as a tribute to my late great aunt, Blanche, who would have been delighted with it.
Old world charm...
Pale wood...sigh...I love it...
I love this dining nook...
I love these chairs...the contrast is stark but subtle and soothing at the same time...
The other side of the room...
