Bright and charming: I would very much love to have my own studio for all my various maker projects. The light in this space with the full ceiling of lights is amazing. The industrial wood table and stool are both beautiful and functional and there seems to be a home for all the materials and tools.
Polished and minimal: The star in this space is the wall of black brick that incorporates the fireplace and firewood nook. The light coming in from the large wall of windows shines down on each individual brick a little differently giving that wall a lot of texture and movement. The mid century furniture choices are classic, clean and comfortable. The classic arc light adds a bit of sculpture and movement to the room.
Bring the Outside In: The size of this space in impressive enough, but those large plate windows that replace the walls allows the beauty outside to envelope the space. There is barely a separation between the two. The fireplace is a statement in white, while at the same time doesn't distract from the view. The furniture are beautiful neutral colors and clean lines that continue the theme of allowing the trees to shine, but the texture of the fur and leather make them special and invite you to have a seat and grab a book.
Moody and eclectic: This home does not shy away from colors or patterns. I love the mix of old world architectural features like the filagree in the windows of the front door and beautiful windows that frame the entryway to each room contrasting with the more modern lights and table. The colors of the rooms are both dark and bold yet muted in tone. The black painted trim ties the rooms together and helps us transition from one room to the other.
Calming, colorful and comfortable: The wall of windows framing the landscape makes the space light and open. The collection of art feels intimate and personal. The warm wood furniture has clean lines and is a solid base to add the simple striped bedding and bolder striped blanket. I think I would instantly feel comfortable in this room
Classic and creative: This room feels personal. The desk and art feel collected or perhaps passed down in the family. There is a balance between classic pieces like the beautiful French wood desk and more modern pieces like the framed piece of pop art hung on the bookshelf and the modern chair behind the desk that just feels right. The abstract paint around both lights feels like a moment of inspiration. I love the boldness of the black bookcase, but I would have perhaps brought that black all the way up to the ceiling and down to the floor and kept the wall next to it white to highlight that wall.
Kitschy pop of color: This room makes me smile. It is bright and colorful and yet clean and fresh at the same time. The beautiful gold lights and fixtures feel classic and luxurious, while the wallpaper is kitschy fun and the greenery adds contrast. Powder rooms are great small spaces to have fun and make a statement without a high cost.
So fresh and so clean, clean: This bathroom has bold pattern, warm wood and rich gold, yet it feels fresh and clean. The white subway tile allows the other elements to stand out. I love how the colorful, patterned tile on the floor flows up in front of the tub. It feels unexpected. The simple gold fixtures, light and mirror feel luxurious without being ostentatious.
Intimate dinner party: I can imagine sitting around this table with friends late into the night sharing ideas and good cocktails. I love the variety of textures: the glossy warm wood, the soft velvet banquet, the rich wallpaper and the ornate metal grills. The dark colors feel intimate and the red chair cushions and branch are a nice bright contrast.
Modern, Mid century modern: Warm wood tones on the flat panel cabinetry, clean lines, soft accent colors, it is hard to not like this beautiful kitchen space with adjoining dining room. They kept the lights and decor uncluttered and simple. The room floods with light from the windows on the right and on the other side of the dining table there is a beautiful central fire place that extends to the ceiling.
