For The Architects
The line of sight ALL the way through to the view from the front entrance
Love the stairs, the giant window....
Kid study space, built in, able to close and hide!
Shower location, taking advantage of sloped roof - not colors
Small game/sport area built into hillside
The outdoor space with the swivel/pivot window/doors. Would be a great NW “all-season” outdoor hangout space, AND buffer traffic noise
Interior
Sport court!
Love the way the window sneaks into the backsplash
Photo speaks for itself!!! ❤️
The way the chandelier is suspended between steel rafters. Again, creates a sense of intimacy in the space, without closing it at all
‘Skyway’
Black frame windows in top of doorways to transition rooms, seems like space becomes more intimate but does not block sight or feel closed in
Love the idea of a suspended glass bridge between two structures
For third lot maybe, or if we extended some of our house out over the hill
Because playhouses are cool
Our MAIN inspiration house. So many things to love ❤️
Kitchen brick wall, stairs
Open banister walkway
Pivot door, windows, covered porch and lines of house
Approach to house- garage IN hillside/underground, allows for larger flat area on top
