***I don’t want my garden to feel this unstructured or messy (cottage-y) but several thing in this pic appeal to me as they could be applied to my garden: I like that it feels like there are nooks and crannies as well as places you can duck down into to appreciate or to squat down and tend to, and to feel like I am totally in my own world -- in contrast to raised beds in a grid pattern where no matter where you are you are kind of exposed. I also like that there is a tiny amount of shade. I would put a chair and a side table there for my phone and water bottle.
Connecting carport (will be garage) to back door of house. Doorway bisecting it perpendicularly connecting herb garden to intimate brick courtyard w fireplace. alternatively this may even work for the entire courtyard space?? parallel with the screen porch. then exit at the end to the left of this photo which leads to the middle/mezzanine level patio space along garage wall and near rear of poolhouse
so so cute. little kitchen on the left and storage on the right for noodles and floats and bullshit.
Herb garden on north side near back door?
Love the stone, and how you just see corner of house although this pine tree or whatever seems kind of in the middle
