Gummy Staircase
177 white pine - new build chalet?
Priest Creek cave?
OH my, I just love those arches and stone on the ceiling! Candles sconces on the wall complete the look nicely. Could also put a gas lit torch with low flame. Somehow, the modern lights in the centre arch work well with this. I also like that the stairs end in wider steps.
Interesting feature
Interesting.
Oh my! What is there not to love?
Look at that stone! Well done and great colour. The floor trim and posts look perfect in his setting.
This is not a boring staircase.
An alternative to a railing mounted on brackets is one “cut” into the wall, a more difficult and expensive design.
Very interesting iron railing.
Another view of the same interesting staircase railing.
Wall sconces mimic the curve of the staircase leading to the basement. Interesting that the basement doesn't look dark or overly lit up in "spots". Well done.
Sturdy, intricate and not "too much". Pleasing to the eye.
Making a staircase, slightly out if site but with style. Easily accessible.
Corner stairs with flair and style. The way this opens up at the bottom, doesn't give you the impression of really "rounding a corner" as much.
Staircase in a castle wing. Red runner looks great. I think a stone/brick wall would add more character and warmth.
Ironwork railings.
I like the curves. Nice custom wooden bench/storage against the stone wall. Leads to the wind cellar and movie theatre?
This way to the wine cellar! Absolutely amazing; the stone, wood and iron.
The top level has wood floors, first steps in the turn are very wide and wood. In the straight part and bottom, there is carpet, for safety (less chances if slipping) and noise reduction.
Interesting steps and storage in a narrow spot, to a loft or tiny home.
Stairs at entrance.
Stone, wood, details accent wall Warmth. Solid.
Great spot under the staircase.
Crosswalk hugging the curved wall
Entry into the rotunda
What are these doors in the middle if staircase landing? Storage?
To basement. This brings natural lighting
look at the detailing in the metal rail!
very interesting that the dining table and glassware is set near the beautiful staircase. I would never have thought to put it there but it really works for this space
great view in the landing of these stairs
stairs with a slide, side by side
I like the fine mesh used, better option than glass, as it doesn't leave prints
