My Project
Light fixture is both traditional and contemporary
Use of reclaimed brick in kitchen - or local stone?
Consider use of colour on vaulted ceiling in new master bedroom
I like combo of glass and solid, white and colour - but put white on top to lift ceiling
I like the tidy path combo of gravel/mulch and flagstone
Seating and dining areas nicely demarcated
Dining and seating areas - great use of space.
our faux marble tiling - add centre pad of white and black basketweave. chantilly lace cabinets---walls painted soft pastel tbd
nomad coloured. cabinets
great idea
opening to the courtyard - from both the persent kitchen area and the primary bedroom
sculpted carpet; vaulted ceiling with white beams (I would like limed distressed wood); chandelier for our foyer; colour of the room a very light pastel TBD
Urn fountain
Stairs with two retaining walls
Flagstone path with side plantings of green and purple
The tile work marking the centre of the seating area - use of a few stone pots and a few trees - use Japanese maple
Light fixture
I like the glass front cabinets - I have nice dishes and I keep them tidy.
Like these big glass pendants - contemporary yet cottage vibe - there's the darker blue Island - I think I prefer the lighter blue
Like the white faux-marble quartz for most of the countertops but use a richer granite or stone for blue island - use a herringbone pattern white subway tile for backsplash - or a soft blue colour to match the island; like that pop of open shelving
Like the open shelving; the built in wine fridge and use of blue (but I would perfer white cabinets and blue island)
Interestintg idea for cook top and I like the use of the open shelving here - creates illusion of more space versus current archway. I think we are going to go with a convection cook top - much easier to clean!
I like the use of wood (lime to match the floor and use reclaimed wood); the furniture-style island in blue (use nomad or our richer blue wall contrasting colour); like the stainless steel pendants - but they would not diffuse the light which is a drawback - like wood floor colour
colour scheme -
There is my shutter colour!
Like the shutters
Med grey with off-white and touches of grey-blue trim
I like the lamost black roof and the fresh soft white siding
Great colours and textures - would like a little more blue and less green in trim.
Colour scheme - use of faux marble - mix of light and dark
Nice wine cupboard
