Living room - paint colors
Another laundry room drying rack in the “pricier option” category - I like that it has pullout racks for lay-flat-to-dry items. Maybe a storage cabinet over the washer and a cabinet like this over the dryer?
Interesting idea for drying rack - placement would need to be above the cabinets (not below as pictured). I’ve also found multiple other options for a wall-mounted fold-out drying rack, which would certainly be most budget-friendly.
Master Bath - this Kohler Abrazo is my dream tub - it’s absurdly expensive and I’m pretty sure it’s too big for our space - whomp! Still passing it along for the inspo value.
Kitchen - Tile - Wood look?? Would have to see it in person - looks too good to be true.
Exterior - Front - Cute door. I feel like the trim is too beige/greige. I like a “true” gray more.
Exterior - Front - Big, fat beams.
Exterior - Front - Is it prohibitively expensive to change the shape of our front door? These rounded cottage doors are so cute! Also like color palette.
Exterior - Front - I like the door. Alternative color scheme.
Exterior - Front - Chimney goals (I do *not* like the other exterior colors)
Exterior - Front - I like the idea of the stone veneer they’ve used for refacing our chimney.
Exterior - Front - Color Palette
Kitchen - Organization - Pantry goals - I love that the mixer is stored at counter height!
Kitchen - Organization - More awesome pantry storage.
Dream Staircase - Just for fun
Kitchen - More flat front cabinets that don’t seem (to me) too modern for our house.
Kitchen - Organization - I love these bins - they look like they can take a beating and would be easy to remove/clean.
Kitchen - Organization - Lots of awesome pantry storage, even though it’s not a walk-in.
Kitchen - I love these clean lines and feel like this is contemporary, but maybe not too too modern for our house??
Breakfast Nook - Of course ours doesn’t have a window, but I love how they’ve got the circular table and bench cut out.
Dining - Color palette - White on white with dark hardwoods. Then add a bit of temporary color.
Exterior - Front - I like this white brick with gray window frames and trim. I’d probably go with a “walnut” wood door or a fun colored door. Chuy has already objected to the idea of a door that is any color other than “wood” :)
Living Room - I like the clean lines and color palette (white, wood) I also like the “natural” stone element on the chimney.
Exterior - Patio - I had been envisioning a rectangular slab extension, but this made me think I should consider other shapes.
Exterior - Patio - Alternative “stone” material for patio extension (I like the grays, but it also have some browns that goes with existing retaining wall stone).
Exterior - Patio - I like the simple look of this concrete slab for the extension.
Exterior - Patio - We like the wood on the ceiling and the clean lines on the sliding doors/windows. We don’t want grids in the windows looking out to the backyard.
Kitchen - Cabinet color - I’m undecided - I think a lighter gray like this (instead of white) could work. Chuy thinks we’ll get tired of the gray and would prefer white. What we do agree on is that we don’t want cabinet doors with glass fronts - no one needs to see our mismatched Tupperware! :)
Kitchen - Sending you this one because I feel like this is too light — Chuy and I really like it when the wood has the darker/warmer walnut tones.
Kitchen - Organization - I suspect it is quite expensive, but this sliding cabinet behind the stove for oils/spices looks like pure genius.
Kitchen - Countertop and backsplash material
Kitchen - Organization - A liquor drawer - yes, please. With a lock? EVEN BETTER!
Kitchen - Organization - must get rid of trash compactor and have bins that are easy to remove/clean - there’s another picture of bins that look higher quality, but in this photo I also love the under mount, undivided, stainless steel sink and the fact they got in a little sponge cabinet.
Kitchen - Too modern for our house, but I do like the color palette.
Kitchen - Organization - I love this “battle station” cabinet - ideally it would be wide enough to fit my 22” wide x 17” tall wall calendar so it’s not pinned on the wall looking all messy. The fact that it has electrical to charge iPads (which both kids have to do each evening for school), a place to hang keys, etc —- all awesome features.
Kitchen - Color palette. Also a big fan of having one solid piece of quartz/marble as the backsplash (instead of subway tile, etc).
Kitchen - I don’t like the Shakers. I do like the white/gray with walnut details. I really like the look of these countertops.
Kitchen - Organization - I like the idea of drawers instead of cabinets for the lowers - also really like these toe-kick drawers where I could store some cooling racks, pizza pan, etc. A little design nuance - my robot vacuum (the only thing in this house that listens to me) is 3.5” tall - unless it comes with an extreme cost, I’d like the toe-kick area/ledge to be high enough off the ground that the Roomba can get in there and suck up crumbs on the floor.
