Principles of Design
Regular Rhythm is shown in this picture. The hanging light displays are repeated in the same order and same width apart each time. They are placed in the middle of these rectangular caved in roof things so it keeps order and makes the distance between the light seem more natural and clean. The lighting fixtures are on both sides so regular rhythm is really shown by this.
This has emphasis or a focal point on the circular chandelier. It loops around and has light bulbs so it is pretty noticeable. It stands out the most when looking at this room, especially since all the furniture is neutral toned and kind of spread out more throughout the room. This makes the chandelier the first thing to notice because the shape and color pops out in your face.
This is an example of symmetrical. When drawing a line straight down the middle of the room, both sides are almost identical, minus the specific pieces of decor. There are couches on each side and shelves that split in half perfectly. The coffee tables are placed right in the middle so they also split perfectly too.
This has Random rhythm because this aquarium like scenery it planted there in a random way because everything else it white and neutral toned. The rhythm that the aquarium like thing carries across the wall is flowy like but has no specific direction or flow to it.
