Stormer Lakehouse
Possible curve roofs???
Different depths,
Stained ceilings
Craig’s man cave, I would like to see if we can beef up the column on the right. Please note the gutter drain is on this post and drains into a drain in the cement. Is it ok to wrap over this? We plan on repainting a little darker blue
I love this design but I’m afraid it won’t work for my house. Too much glass on the street side. Hoping we can have a very large front door with some glass and side glass. I love seeing the stairs. We may add drop down shades that we can close when we are not there or even when we are there and want more privacy. This much glass just screams BREAK INTO ME! NO ONE LIVES THERE!
Interesting detail on side of stairs. Debating between this look and detailed white panel look of the Rochester house
I like details in the window. I love the dark trim but I will probably go with white trim for a more nautical look. What are your thoughts? I also like how the circle detail on this window also repeated on the glass in the entry way.
We will have 2 story windows in Great Room,we would like all windows as tall as possible. Only pains in the top windows. Clear glass at eye level. The porch above dining area will need to be an all season room with large windows and removable screens. The screens will not survive the winters. There are too many spiders at the lake to leave it open. All windows in Great Room and slider off Dining room. Multi tier patio no railings.
Close up view of dining room/ all season room. Notice only pains on the top of windows
Multi level patio. Zoom in to see silder off of dining room with a small landing, another step down to a seating area, third step down to fire pit/ backyard. We will probably put our fire pit closer to the lake. We would like a nice built in grill area. Not sure if we want it at ground level in front of the porch or ground level in front of the dining room. Depends how high the house is.
Shade sails for porch
Deciding whether to do a stone fireplace or white paneling. I would like the fireplace opening larger and a foot or so off the floor. Craig will want a large TV at least 75”above the mantel. We want a gas fireplace that can be turned on with a flick of a switch.
Wide angle view of fireplace and white paneling. Do not want cross beams
Debating between a stone fireplace or white panel fireplace. We could frame an area above the fireplace like they did and put Craig’s tv instead of art work. I like how they continued the mantle to both sides of the fireplace and continued the bump out with paneling above. With a second mantle above the framed artwork. I would like shelves similar to the right side on both sides of the fireplace. But two large spaces for framed photos and a taller space at the bottom for baskets or folded blankets or towels. Maybe we could frame the fireplace insert area with stone.
Different view of fireplace. We could have this open rail upstairs above the kitchen. We would like at least 10’ ceilings in the kitchen and dining room.
Other side of room looking into open kitchen
I want the back wall of the kitchen to be very clean with little distraction. I love this wide hood over a gas stove. I would like a couple feet of countertop space on each side of stove then flank tall cabinets or panel fridge and freezer on each side. I will have to meet with cabinet people to get a better idea of layout. We want a tall ceiling in kitchen we may have room for a row of long horizontal windows above the tile.
Considering tall blue cabinets for kitchen
This is our kitchen in Florida we would like to duplicate this island/table combo.
I may waterfall the island depending on cabinet layouts I need to get with a kitchen designer
We would like roll down screens on the porch off the Master bedroom
Roll down screens
Although I love the white bead board on the ceiling of the porch there are too many bugs and spiders that mess it up. Let’s stick with stained beadboard.
I like these sliding doors with transoms for first floor master
Sliding door for dining room & first floor master windows for dining room and second floor all season room
Stair supports on each side
