Can Tile just small area for wall mount
Love the Line K homes in Virgina designed by Piet Boon. Perfect mix of traditional walls and exaggerated traditional moldings with modern furniture, kitchens and light fixtures. All White House with nearly black doors.
Wainscoting is square and chair rail. Baseboards 1’ tall so sockets just half inch over that. Exaggerated plinth blocks. From Line K homes
Staircase banister
Colors, texture / depth in walls and materials, dark doors
Love mix of traditional and modern
Super traditional crown molding goes fine with eclectic and modern decor.
Hidden seemless storage straight up to ceiling, such as for hallway mud/closet
Square columns
White kitchen, simple backplash, nice floor color, cabinets go all the way to ceiling
White, bright kitchen and nice floor color
Cabinet front style, overall look of kitchen though this is too dark
White kitchen, navy island, nice floor color
LOVE the tile on backsplash. Artistic tile, waterjet damask
Light gray cabinets still bright, matte gold hardware with stainless steel stove
Hide appliances
Cabinets reverse bevel looks like wainscot, kind of nice alternative to ubiquitous shaker style. Look to left of wall oven to barely see marble countertop that is revealed when open cabinets.
Countertop hidden within hutch /wall of cabinets, true sturdy countertop to hold small appliances and/or coffee/tea makers
cabinetry with countertop for storage of small appliances fruit and bread and coffee, if we can’t get walk in pantry
Warmer color white cabinets, light floors, white but warm...but maybe this is a little pink
Vent hidden
Wall mount faucet
Color of hardwood floors, mix of gold furniture with gray pendant and chrome faucet. This is all white kitchen that is modern but not too austere/sterile white. Very warm dirty gray, gold furniture accent, and center island countertop is actually light dove gray.
Backsplash goes 1/3 way up windows, floor color warmer
If need more space, can future make Hutch in dining room for coffee pot and toaster fruit and bread storage and easy access in lieu of walk in pantry. But this goes on east wall so reduces room for long dining table.
Pocket door goes all the way to ceiling. Do this for pocket door to pantry. Possibly also do for sliding closet doors and remove frame, so closet blends into room.
Tile cool, also this is example of narrow mudroom
Concealed mud room lockers but need a tiny bit more space to kick off shoes on floor, under drawer for mittens, sunglasses, hats etc.
Example of narrow mudroom, if we had narrow powder (36” wide) and narrow mud (54” wide) off of hallway.
Cool wood wrap for walk thru mud. Note this is example of narrow mud room.
Would be awesome to just put door so don’t see hallway to garage, then use hallway to garage as mudroom/drop zone. This would enable us to keep powder and closet area totally intact, and prevent all guests from walking thru mud to get to powder. But would need to move wall 2 feet into first floor master.
Mud room simple idea: just bench WITH DRAWERS, hooks, ledge for sunglasses. Love it but may look messy if have to walk thru mud to get to powder.
Pretty cabinetry makes passing they mudroom to get to powder more bearable?
Cabinet for mail and charging, and junk drawer items (pens etc) behind frige, facing stair landing/foyer. Size 36”W x 1”D.
Narrow bathroom, narrow wink, storage for toilet paper inset
Glass doors over tub hinge on both walls
