SURFSEDGE #701
this coffee cabinet has both the granite and a slding shelf
they offset the two upper cabinets so theres more room for the hood vs making the bottom cabinet 36"
have a light in coffee cabinet
how much does the hood have to stick out? this seems like a lot. also the hood is too simple. Maybe i should use stainless OR gray to calm down the white if I don't do two toned.
good example of bump out at stovetop. should the sink be? I like the hood but it has to stick out more because of bumped out stovetop.
more this grey (greige)
example of grange cabinets and gold handles
example of pantry/coffee nook on granite. Is it deep enough for Kurig? would it be better to be able to pull it out on a drawer? If we had a drawer we could carry the whole pantry down at 24" (or whatever that area can be). I think I'll do drawers below . The coffee portion would have one stationary shelf above for coffee cups, kurig cups. The top cabinet would be stationary.
example of graige lower cabinets and white uppers to create contrast with white floors (pantry would be split in 2 with granite so could do bottom graige.
this 30" hood looks whimpy. maybe we should do a 36" cabinet and hood with 30" cooktop.
do NOT like the panel. prefer a baseboard
the baseboard could be minimal to be more modern
gray or graige or mushroom island. i could do a hood shaped like this so i could put granite to ceiling
island with kp all around with legs
example of island but has kp on outside (with corner legs)
i do NOT like the legs on these cabinets
this whole island is kp
should we bump sink and stove out?
example of legs on all 4 corners of the island. also use on refrigerator box, from left stove to start of pantry, and then pantry.
no kp
do NOT like the legs on this
no kp at all on this cabinetry??
do NOT like that flat board sticking out on the lower cabinets
island has just a shoe and no baseboard
example of the back of the island with the row of cabinets.
good example of inset cabinetry and the legs to the ground.
this island is down to the floor on the back side and has a kp on the inside. would this be a good color accent wall? also example of inset cabinets.
i don't like the kick plate on these cabinets. it looks like the pantry shouldn't have them. also the cabinet on left would come down to the ground.
should we eliminate the half wall at toilet in master? OR have the half wall but don't tile it. Use the counter top as backsplash.cap the half wall with countertop.
if we do a stainless hood then we should we do a 36" cabinet for 30" cooktop so the hood isn't right up against the upper cabinets (like we did at home). If we do a cabinet hood you'd want it to integrate with the cabinets. but would a 36" hood look more substantial?
good example of cabinet frame and simple crown
example of cabinet frame
what will bottom of island look like? can i have four legs like 675? do i do kick plates on south side if there are cabinets?
example of hood.example of small frame on cabinet panel. the crown style is too traditional?
maybe cabinets with simple frame BUT I want all drawers with frame (not like these drawers)
panel on side of cabinet (island and pantry and uppers flanking the stove if doing stainless hood). won't need it on uppers flanking if using cabinet hood. will need it on right side of right stove upper and left and right side of pantry and island.
this color island - mushroom
the stained color
something like this color for the island
i like the color of the stained wood (like the color of sand)
example of quartz
example of quartz
i like the thick edging
