Front yard
*Liz: Not sure where this would go? Also, glass block is prominent in 80's & 90's design, so not great for your mid century theme
*Liz: Colors, yes. Spanish theme, no.
*Liz: great source for us to embed in concrete! I assume we would discard colors beside red, yellow, blue?
nice living walls *Liz: I still see a trellis wall as the most cost effective option for the courtyard side of your office wall. Definite option.
super awesome detail
I have picked out this mailbox like a hundred times. I probably need to have it. *Liz: This was made for Kari. My only suggestion would be to see if they have a deeper size for packages? I get a ton in my mailbox and they're often stuck or hanging out the front.
*Liz: LOVE this feel. Obviously more of a backyard option, but I'll keep in mind all the lights.
super basic fountain *Liz: Fountain in a more vertical form for the courtyard side of your office wall still an option. Or maybe a freestanding one could go next to the maple tree.
given as example of making a space feel intimate
portable fire? *Liz: back yard?
interesting floor. less rustic version could be interesting. maybe even get as bold as adding color... *Liz: I think flagstones or stepping stones (water permeable coverage) will prevent us from duplicating this look.
some kind of forest wallpaper could work as mural we discussed on big courtyard wall *Liz: I don't know of a wallpaper that works outdoors. I can look into it if it's a real possibility later
*Liz: "Kari color" will definitely be incorporated somehow!
recommended font for address numbers
*Liz: Love the shape
Vertical plants to make big walls look more organic *Liz: This would be killer outside big, bare office wall
I would like to light up the shade structure like this--or if that clashes with fixtures there, then find other place(s) for xmas lights *Liz: I'm keeping market lights in mind for front and/or back yards
Perhaps climbing plants could give the blending into nature feeling M is looking for. (M: yes!)
Super cool
Swing!
sucker for outdoor lighting
I like this hardscape if we went with something more regular
wonder what this ground cover is...
we don't have elevation change but love this feeling
could imagine mortared stones like the bathtub but as a pathway
*Liz: Are we talking about a tile to walk on? Can't do glass, it's slippery and it scratches.
