Diplomat Powder
I like this dark countertop on the lighter wood base with the white rectangular vessel sink. Keith likes the look of the rectangular vessel sink - gives a modern look without feeling too trendy or over the top. Keith not sure how this will look with tile etc. that would go on the wall behind it. I pointed out that it was Jackie's job to help us figure this out and if these options won't work with anything, she will tell us and offer something else.
I love these slightly textured/wavy tiles. Keith may need convincing
something about this BUT I am generally not a fan of horizontal stripes (but Keith usually is)
Keith likes the blue tiles - these are blue leaning more towards gray vs green, which he does not like.
interesting to see how much Keith likes this as I think it's probably way too much going on for him in general, but he had a positive reaction to this image.
Maybe this uncomplicated approach is the thing. I have been trying to figure out how to introduce more color, a cooler backsplash etc. without having it all look odd with the traditional white tub that I do not want to get rid of - I am eventually going to lose the tub in my bathroom and I would like to have one tub on the first floor. Maybe I am trying too hard and some textured white subway tile (or similar) with a dark slate colored grout and maybe a rust to blue-gray slate tile on the floor or even a copper colored floor tile would be just the thing - with more dark metal accents such as the glass doors and around the sink?
Blue to wainscot, then white, maybe. But not in this style.
Another shot of the limestone tile.
Like the pattern on this - even though I said I wanted “bling”
Another possibility.
Any of these 4 could be ok for the floor.
This is super pricey.
This is super pricey.
Too expensive but it has the “bling” factor for sure.
This is a wall tile but something like this pattern would be really pretty on the floor
Shell mosaic with wallpaper
I was looking at slate mosaic tiles and found this photo with the vanity type we were talking about. Keith says he likes everything about this except for the round mirror. personally, I would do the vessel sink in a rectangle as well, but thought I would show this to you. overall I think it might be too dark and pretty sure I don't have budget for quite that much mosaic tile anyway.
