Elements of Rooms That I Like for the Watermarke Lobby (June 2013)
Here are some examples from the Houzz site that I thought might work for The Breakwater Condominium Lobby. There was one that I accidentally deleted that I can't seem to find, but it incorporated a lighted tile/glass wall. I know it would be way too expensive anyway-just thought it was interesting. I also included the three that I already sent you from the condo on 5th, just so you had them all together.
I am sorry that I will not be able to make the meeting on Monday. I am in CA and won't be back for another week. I am really excited about you coming!!! I hope you have a great time.
Look forward to seeing your ideas,
Johanna Molloy
I like the idea of a water element. The lighted wall fountain, warm neutral marble (or travertine) floor and dark carpet could be interesting. Although I like the idea of a statue or an art object. I believe it would be important to make sure it went with a northwest or beachside feel. (I personally do NOT like the style and colors of the pottery in the corner.) I think the room needs some kind of green plant.
I like the drama of the dark wood with lighting and glass shelves surrounding the elevator as well as the subtle design on the doors. I also like that there is a light, neutral, marble-type floor and plants. (NOT sure about the accessories and the planters, but I love having some kind of green plants...).
