I like a table like this for the kitchen
Pam wants a couch with a lounge on one end like this. The current L-shaped couch creates a division between the living room, which we picture as being very comfy and a place to chill out on the floor with dog and baby (amongst other things), and the “breakfast nook,” which we hope to define between the kitchen and the living room. There’s space for a small table near the back door.
I’d like to stop and rest there for a while.
I keep being struck by how much I don’t like the look of this place. Please let’s not make the house look like this.
This is someplace I would like to visit. (It is built totally different than our house. It just feels good.)
This room feels warm and cozy.
Photo wall is nice. I love photography as a hobby and take colorful photos when we travel together.
I like the storage, not so much the rug.
This looks high maintenance but having plants displayed creatively (and out of reach of little fingers!) would be neat.
I like these little planters, and will admit to a fondness for the color of that wall as well.
The smaller cubbies keep things from getting too lost in deep shelves that could easily feel too cluttered.
I love the feel of this photo. We have a window over our soaking tub so can’t exactly do something like that but something about it says “sanctuary.” “Exhale.” I’m a pediatrician usually working in the ER, often under high pressure. Making our bedroom and especially the bathroom a space to unwind would feel so good.
We don’t want to change the kitchen cabinets but if there were a way to incorporate a pull out spice rack into either a cabinet or the pantry (currently a nondescript closet with shelves) that would be cool.
It looks like such a great “landing pad” and I love the color.
These colorful cushions are kind of fun.
