15 Butterfly Lane (Jordan)
These are cool...I've researched the troughs in the past and they're not good for anything edible but they do look very cool.
pretty garden
pretty, soft garden
pretty climbing roses maybe on a trellis, soft pink colors are nice.
stamped concrete may be a cost-effective hardscape and this one looks nice.
hardscape. love the look of bluestone - like the brown/blue/gray colors too.
hardscape
hardscape/pavers
Something like these trees may be good for the south-west corner of the yard for a privacy screen. They don't seem to be too large -- Cora does not like these trees. Maybe prettier trees that provide privacy.
Outdoor storage
outdoor storage, plus bench seating.
outdoor storage
deck storage
Given our elevation changes, storage under the decking may be a good way to incorporate our storage needs into the overall design.
It would be great to have hardscaping between the garden beds.
Cool hidden storage. Maybe for tools, maybe for trash cans.
Something to hide our trash cans would be great.
Not necessarily this picture, but I'd like to have a small amount of outside storage for garden tools.
Would like to do something like this next to our AC. It's a bit of an eyesore.
Simple kitchen. I like the idea of an overhang that ties in with the same look of a pergola.
pizza, gas grill, charcoal
fun
nice kitchen...storage, fridge, sink, etc
It would be great to have some sort of overhang over the downstairs slider and window. This will help provide shade from the afternoon sun, which bakes the south-facing side of the house.
Pizza oven!
An outdoor fireplace would be cool..not sure if we can do this in Marin.
Outdoor kitchen along the fence line outside of the mudroom door would be awesome. I bbq a lot, esp. when we have guests over. Water and gas would be nice, but isn't 100% necessary.
The decking pattern is cool. Also, perhaps the canopy intead of a full pergola may be cool to explore.
When looking toward the back of the yard, I'd love to have a pergola and seating area to the right of the tree. It has the best view of Mt. Tam from the yard.
Wood retaining walls with fence boards to finish the look. This may be interesting to do. It would kind of tie the wood from the deck with other areas of the yard.
