Likes: A lot. This kitchen/dining/living area ticks a lot of boxes for us. The banquette (back left) provides additional seating for a 4-seat dining table for more functionality in a small home, provides storage space and a feature to an otherwise blank wall. We both like the appearance of the kitchen with its white subway tiles, white cabinetry and functional silver handles. The double door and windows to the rear provide the access, views and light we are seeking while also providing a protected area to sit and read a book or move the dining table for a larger gathering (rather than a large multiple bi fold door). This door could also be provided with flyscreen. The kitchen layout avoids an island bench, which we are not entirely decided on. We like the corridor aspect of this kitchen, as the width allows you to imagine one person at either side (stove and sink) and another person could still walk through the centre. The storage visible in this kitchen appears to slightly exceed the storage we currently have in our existing kitchen, which should be sufficient. It might be OK to extend part of the kitchen/dining to the east wall if this helps provide the functionality to this ...
