Zen Front Garden
I like the look of this poured concrete but perhaps on a larger scale (bigger slabs). I like the offset staggering. I'm not a fan of the slabs with pebbles between them because I have to think about where I'm placing my feet so I don't trip. At least for the main walkway to the front door, I would prefer this type of close slab orientation.
I like the tall wavy grasses to the left in this photo, especially next to the clean look of the concrete path.
I love the look of bamboo. It would be nice to have controlled areas of bamboo (so it doesn't take over..). Love the tree to the right.
An arbor or trellis type structure in front of the garage with wysteria on it would be great.
I don't like the tile-look concrete work but love the height differential with trees and shrubs.
Some type of bridge or organic feature like this little wooden path connecting the two areas of concrete is nice.
Love the look of this mid-century modern outdoor space with modern features like the concrete balls and defined greenery space. I would prefer defined spaces with taller grasses that have movement in the wind, versus the stiff grass in the planter.
The channels of rocks between the concrete path are great as long as there is a way to control weed growth.
Like the clean looking poured concrete walkways in this light gray color. Really like the exposed trunk tree.
Again, we like the defined spaces although I'm not a huge fan of the individual tile patio, would prefer larger poured concrete. Love the well lit maple with the different colored leaves.
I love the bonzai-type tree, some grass, defined spaces, large rocks partially in and out of different spaces
Like the defined gardens, bamboo, pavers, big pots
