I really like the multiple beams that extend from under the roof and then go into the groiund, it forms a pathway and is such a cool design element.
This was a plan I found awhile back that seemed to have similar angles to our house...not quite the 45 degree angles but more of the one's like we have, a bit off kilter..like us!
I like how the beams have lights integrated into them.
I like the size and angle of these posts...which match some of the size of the beams inside and would support a cantilevered roof...I think.
Maybe some stone or tile details like this would be good to repeat the use of materials and fully integrate the design.
I like this...but not the "bar" part where there are stools pulled up to the hot tub...
integrating the hot tub into a deck so that the access is limited to a step or two would be optimum. Then having some benches either around or abutted to the tub would be good so long as there is access to the panel for any repairs.
I like the floor to ceiling doors...even if they are screen doors at some point to make the opening wider by sliding both open.
