Transitional Kitchens
Our designer was asked to modernize this small kitchen in an architecturally significant home while paying homage to the architect’s original materials, adding storage space and keeping an illusion of openness. She used ceiling-high cabinets to add storage and create a display area above the window for the homeowner’s glass art creations. Hand-forged decorative hardware complements antique iron latches throughout the home. Cabinets hug the breakfast room doorway to conceal the home alarm panel and provide a space for charging cell phones and hanging keys. The caramel stain adds a richness to the entire space.
Don’t like these types of doors on the cabinetry.
