Topiary punctuates the herbaceous border and highlights the building architecture. Climbers are maintained to a specific height on the building. Box hedging is used to front the border creating a neat edge. The hedge also hides plants throughout the year when they are not looking their best. Azaleas have been planted in the foreground and produce a striking display in May.
