Archadeck of Austin
We designed this covered porch with the outdoor kitchen at one end and the outdoor fireplace at the other end. The wood-burning fireplace has room for a large-screen TV over the mantel. We designed the fireplace with firewood boxes to hold plenty of wood on either side of the hearth. The outdoor kitchen is U-shaped and contains a built-in area to house the homeowners’ Traeger smoker/grill.

And the pergola over the bar area! This has to be one of our favorite pergolas. It’s made of cedar timbers that play with the sunlight and cast dynamic shadows. It defines the dining and bar area dramatically, and it will provide the diners with some shade.
Deck Plus, LLC - Outdoor Additions
This outdoor living combination design by Deck Plus has it all. We designed and built this 3-season room using the Eze Breeze system, it contains an integrated corner fireplace and tons of custom features.
Outside, we built a spacious side deck that descends into a custom patio with a fire pit and seating wall.

Bordering this elegant patio is a sweeping, curved outdoor kitchen with granite countertops. We used stacked stone to build the surround for the appliances. Notice the contrasting color insets for the granite countertops in the “eat in” kitchen and bar area.

For the patio cover, we designed a roof with a stunning open-gable end. We used tongue and groove pine for the ceiling and wrapped all of the beams in cedar and posts in AZEK. If you look closely, you can see the steps we built for the doorway leading into the home. We used low-maintenance AZEK for the steps, an extremely durable material perfect for any high-traffic area. Also, bringing indoor comforts outdoors, we installed recessed can lights in the ceiling as well as everyone’s favorite, the ceiling fan.

The view terrace/patio was completely re-conceived.
A new spa was placed at the edge of the patio, thrust out over the edge and into the view, grounded with stone planters.
An eliptical patio engages with pre-existing limestone boulders.
Supports for the deck are clad in limestone.
Composite decking and cable rails are new.

Designing and building outdoor living spaces in Austin, TX, we have become experts in meeting local water quality regulations. At issue are the natural aquifers that supply drinking water to city residents. In order to maintain water quality, the city restricts impervious ground cover. Homeowners are limited to a specific percentage of impervious cover on their lots. Any space beyond that percentage must be permeable.

At the other end of the pergola, we built new stone columns around the pergola’s support posts. Those columns flank the new rectangular gas-burning fire pit we built for this space. Instead of building the columns and stone fire pit on the existing concrete patio, we built this structure OFF the patio. We peeled back the AstroTurf next to the patio and placed the new stone structure here to avoid losing usable patio space.

Archadeck of Northeast Dallas
As the premier Garland TX patio builder, Archadeck started thee outdoor living space expansion by extending the existing patio area by more than three times its original size using a stain and stamp pattern in traditional flagstone. To compliment the earth tone hues of the home’s exterior, the patio stain colors are a blend of terra cotta, pecan tan and dark walnut.
