Like: Different material on island (the wood adds a lot of warmth to a cold, but clean, looking kitchen), drawers, smooth wood floors. Dislike: I dislike anything that forces me to study it. For instance these pendants have different sizes of rectangles on it and my eyes just want to study it, figure out the sizes, etc. The same goes for the "cascading" upper cabinets, they have 4 different depths. That is not pretty to me, it is distracting.

hood o.k. even though it is not angled out. Like that it steps back with two long narrow cabinets on each side. too bad they didn't match up the pattern in the quartz/marble on the wall.
