Designed and built as a speculative house, the Spring Hill Residence includes 4,300 square feet of living area and a detached garage and upper level unit located in the west of market area of Kirkland.
Spring Hill Residence was selected as the September 2000 Seattle Times/AIA Home of the Month and was featured in the February 25, 2000 Pacific Northwest Magazine. Awarded Best Custom Residence by the Master Builders Association, 2001.

Tim Davies Landscaping | PerthLooking for a unique garden that embraced the harsh location and unique architectural characteristics of the contemporary home, the owner employed the expertise of Tim Davies and Levi Carter of Tim Davies Landscaping to design and build this stunning landscape.
Being in close proximity to the coast, the planting palette needed to be closely considered to create a landscape that would be able to withstand the conditions. The client was determined to have a mature finish to the garden. In order to achieve this, Tim and Levi sourced a range of mature trees from around the state that were suitable for relocation. These species included Poinciana, Olive, Frangipani and Magnolia trees. Custom ornamentation also creates focal points throughout, while large graphite granite bowls and a custom solid granite planter alongside the pool work to tie the spaces together.
This minimal, contemporary design by Tim Davies Landscaping combines high-quality finishes with mature, lush planting to create habitable spaces that work aesthetically.

Windsor CompaniesThis intimate, interconnected landscape gives these homeowners three spaces that make being outside a joy.
Low stucco walls create a courtyard near the front door that has as unique sense of privacy, making it a great place to pause and view the pond below.
Under the deck the stucco walls wrap around a patio, creating a perfect place for a cool refuge from hot summer days. A custom-made fountain is integrated into the wall, a bed of lush flowers is woven into the bluestone, and a view to the surrounding landscape is framed by the posts of the deck above.
The rear patio is made of large bluestone pieces. Grassy seams between the stone soften the hard surface. Towering evergreens create privacy, drifts of colorful perennials surround the seat walls, and clumps of Aspen trees define the entrance to this enchanting outdoor room.

Visionscapes NW Landscape DesignNarrow side yard features a gravel path with inlaid "stepping stones" made of metal circles embedded in the gravel and ringed with Mexican black pebbles. Inside the stepping stones are plantings of dwarf mondo grass, 'Sunshine' creeping veronica, and Corsican mint. Plantings include natives such as evergreen huckleberry, mountain hemlock, sword fern, and deer ferns.
Dig Your Garden Landscape DesignTo gain more usable space in this narrow landscape and update the hardscaping and overgrown garden, my design reconfigured the pathway with poured-in-place concrete pavers accented by Mexican pebbles and a stunning variety of succulents and other site-appropriate plantings that thrive in shade and part sun. We removed the tree to create a patio area large enough to fit a table and chairs for a small group. Non-invasive/clumping Bamboo was added to help screen the patio and provide privacy. Other shade to part-shade plants were included that provide a variety of textures and colors throughout the seasons. Low-voltage lighting was installed for safety and ambiance.
