Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.A great project that we designed and built for another great client!! We added paving stone borders to their driveway and also an extended seating area off of the back patio in pavers to tie it all in. We then did exposed aggregate sidewalk and steps down the walkout and tied that into the patio for practical and functional hard scape. A dry river bed theme kept in sync with the community and we utilized a lot of natural stone and materials. Landscape lighting and well placed plantings as well as concrete mowers edge round off this beautifully constructed yard. Enjoy!!

Holmes Fine GardensThis early-phase Japanese-inspired garden draws from the Buddhist, Shinto, and Taoist philosophies and combines the basic elements of plants, water, and rocks along with simple, clean lines to create a tranquil backyard retreat. Plant material used includes Japanese varieties of trees, shrubs and perennials woven together to create interest throughout each season.
Art Garden DesignThis property had not been landscaped for more than 25 years. The entryway and front hillside were covered in large juniper hedges, the Oaks and Redwoods on the property were littered with dead branches, and construction debris from decades was scattered throughout the creek-side property. After extensive tree work and removals, the front yard construction consisted of a moss rock boulder creek that wrapped down the front hillside. The backyard design integrated a new Redwood deck, black basalt gravel patio, and shade appropriate plants. The tree work allowed more light onto the property, and the home owners were able to finally enjoy their outdoor space.

Garden of Ease Landscaping & DesignThis water feature serves as a conduit for run-off rain water, as well as provides interesting architectural texture to the landscaping.
Extraordinary greenery defines this ultra-modern landscape build. Edible beds show off bright greens, contrasting with the grey of the concrete walls. Ornamental grasses and stunning rock accents add a pop of earthy brightness.
Treeline DesignA woodland setting, which called for shady plants, native perennials were chosen to fulfill the plan. A stone path walks one to a granite bench for a seat amongst the plants and a broader view of the birches, hemlocks, and ferns of the surrounding forest. The path connects to a stone terrace, of which Treeline collected stones from the Crann ar Bharr property and constructed the stone terrace into the pine and birch forest.

Ginkgo Leaf StudioA linear group of river birch highlight the right side of the front yard with a mosaic of multiple varieties of carex as groundcover. Aqua Blue granite boulders and beach pebble panels add texture. A custom trench drain was added to the driveway.
