Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle designVG's front landscape was originally lined with iceberg roses. However they were not getting any sun whatsoever so they were not producing roses. I decided to move the roses to a sunnier location and redesign this area with an abundant hedge of blue hydrangeas, rouge camellias, night blooming jasmine around the window openings and a carpet of white alyssum, potted orange trees and shocking salmon bougainvillea.

Owen Landscape ArchitectAn exquisite piece of custom architectural poured concrete. Although relatively flat, the careful detailing enabled a series of curved steps leading up to the main entrance. Curved on one side and straight on the other - the offset corners feature an imported low bollard light fixture from Louis Poulson Lighting a Danish company that makes a high end product. Wiarton stone tiles have been inlaid and mortared into the pathway treads.
Sudbury Design GroupThis stately, Chestnut Hill, circa 1890, brick home sits on idyllic grounds of mature planting.
Our objective was to integrate the new with the old world charm of the property. We achieved this with additional plantings, seasonal color, restoring and adding masonry walls and steps as well as the installation of an elegant eurocobble drive and courtyard.

Mediterrasian LandscapesThis creative couple wanted their backyard divided into several spaces for multiple uses. Nearest the house is a concrete patio for lounging and entertaining. The middle area has raised beds for vegetable gardening and rounded pea gravel where their toddler can play safely. A lovely dry creek bed with river rocks and plants divides that area from the rear section. There you will find a metal sculptor's shed and a paver patio that surrounds the lemon tree, providing access to plant beds and a viewing area for whimsical, homemade sculptures.
Native Edge LandscapeAfter this home was completely rebuilt in the established Barton Hills neighborhood, the landscape needed a reboot to match the new modern/contemporary house. To update the style, we replaced the cracked solid driveway with concrete ribbons and gravel that lines up with the garage. We built a retaining to hold back the sloped, problematic front yard. This leveled out a buffer space of plantings near the curb helping to create a welcoming accent for guests. We also introduced a comfortable pathway to transition through the yard into the new courtyard space, balancing out the scale of the house with the landscape.
