As an animal loving family and owner of two furry creatures, we added a little whimsy with cat wallpaper in their laundry room.

A double washer and dryer, marble lined utility sink, and custom mudroom with built-in storage? We are swooning.
Breathe Design StudioOur Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom.
The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space.
In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.

Haven Design and ConstructionThe laundry room has an urban farmhouse flair with it's sophisticated patterned floor tile, gray cabinets and sleek black and gold cabinet hardware. A comfortable built in bench provides a convenient spot to take off shoes before entering the rest of the home, while woven baskets add texture. A deep laundry soaking sink and black and white artwork complete the space.

John Webb Construction and DesignCustom Built home designed to fit on an undesirable lot provided a great opportunity to think outside of the box with creating a large open concept living space with a kitchen, dining room, living room, and sitting area. This space has extra high ceilings with concrete radiant heat flooring and custom IKEA cabinetry throughout. The master suite sits tucked away on one side of the house while the other bedrooms are upstairs with a large flex space, great for a kids play area!

Remodeling by Classic HomesThe original ranch style home was built in 1962 by the homeowner’s father. She grew up in this home; now her and her husband are only the second owners of the home. The existing foundation and a few exterior walls were retained with approximately 800 square feet added to the footprint along with a single garage to the existing two-car garage. The footprint of the home is almost the same with every room expanded. All the rooms are in their original locations; the kitchen window is in the same spot just bigger as well. The homeowners wanted a more open, updated craftsman feel to this ranch style childhood home. The once 8-foot ceilings were made into 9-foot ceilings with a vaulted common area. The kitchen was opened up and there is now a gorgeous 5 foot by 9 and a half foot Cambria Brittanicca slab quartz island.

JWH Design and Cabinetry LLCThe Laundry can be a fun room when it features an eye-catching porcelain floor and boldly colored JWH Custom Cabinetry. The hanging rail, concealed ironing board, and full height linen storage on the opposite wall, make this space as practical as it is pretty.

This room performs double duties with an area to house coats and shoes with direct access to the outdoor spaces and full laundry facilities. Featuring a custom Slimline Shaker door profile by LTKI painted in Dulux 'Bottle Brush' matt finish perfectly paired with leather cabinet pulls and hooks from MadeMeasure.
