Located directly off of the dining room, this modern wine cellar blends style and utility, incorporating features such as triple deep wine racking with glass, stone, wood, and stainless steel. A contemporary look melding perfectly with this more traditional style home.
Design Build team at Vintage Cellars was also commissioned to create a unique and stylish wooden backing, to ensure that the metal wine pegs really popped.
Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling.
We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity. Wine Cellar Builder Vintage Cellars are true pros when it comes to proper wine storage. Long term wine storage was a must for this client.
This small wine cellar / glass wine cellar / small wine room has a ducted cooling system - utilizing a Wine Guardian placed into the ceiling. A total of 324 bottles was achieved by maximizing the wall space with triple deep metal wine racks.

This Modern home sits atop one of Toronto's beautiful ravines. The full basement is equipped with a large home gym, a steam shower, change room, and guest Bathroom, the center of the basement is a games room/Movie and wine cellar. The other end of the full basement features a full guest suite complete with private Ensuite and kitchenette. The 2nd floor makes up the Master Suite, complete with Master bedroom, master dressing room, and a stunning Master Ensuite with a 20 foot long shower with his and hers access from either end. The bungalow style main floor has a kids bedroom wing complete with kids tv/play room and kids powder room at one end, while the center of the house holds the Kitchen/pantry and staircases. The kitchen open concept unfolds into the 2 story high family room or great room featuring stunning views of the ravine, floor to ceiling stone fireplace and a custom bar for entertaining. There is a separate powder room for this end of the house. As you make your way down the hall to the side entry there is a home office and connecting corridor back to the front entry. Vintage CellarsUnder the Stairs wine cellars were once regarded as plain - boring even. A space that no one knew what to do with. That is undoubtedly the case no longer. Times have changed significantly, design and style as well. What once was that forgotten closet has now metamorphosed into a gorgeous showpiece.
This is exactly the case with this custom wine cellar in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. Sweeping Glass fronts make this wine room visible and noticed from every angle within the main living area in this home. Right off of the main dining room, this custom cellar exudes elegance, adding a modern and contemporary touch to this otherwise traditional style home.
The upper section includes metal wine racking / metal wine racks with triple depth, showcasing each bottle horizontally so that your favorite labels are front and center.
Directly below lies a sweeping high reveal angled display of the most prized vintages, shown off with LED lighting within. This raw oak wine racking melds perfectly with the mixed colors of beiges and browns within the wooden flooring.
Finishing underneath with a traditional diamond bin design, this wine cellar melds the old with the new, the time honored with the cutting edge - the traditional with the modern. Traditionally, when Vintage Cellars works with clients, we recommend that our wine cellars are built with dual paned, thermally insulated glass so that temperature loss and condensation are non existent. This project, however, utilized a single pane glass to keep the minimalist style. Because of this, the recessed cooling system in the back portion of the cellar has been oversized a touch, to ensure that this wine cellar / wine room / wine closet / under the stairs wine cellar / glass wine cellar / custom wine cellar continues to maintain a constant 55 degree temperature and proper relative humidity.
