北野彰作建築研究所昼間は照明を点けなくても明るい階段室となる様にと、浜殺しの窓を設けました。但し西面だったので西日を和らげる目的と清掃できないガラスの汚れを見せないためにとの理由で内障子を入れました。デザイン的にはいつもの「市松障子」ですが、よりシンプルに見せるために建具自身にホワイト塗装を施して白壁のなかに溶け込むようなデザインとしました。
