water / a multi-part answer. There is a sizeable overhang and some shelter from prevailing winds. The doors are high quality LIFT- slide units that DROP down to SEAL WHEN CLOSED. They allow finish flooring to conceal some of the track on the exterior. Most of all, we were careful in detailing the threshold, including a path for water to drain from the track. That said, there is still some risk of water infiltration from wind-driven rain that we discussed with the owners and contractor.
