For a canine loving family, a dog themed playroom was the logical choice. With two boys and a girl, the gender neutral theme works for all of the kids. The large stainless steel table and tufted banquette provide a place for snacks and family game night. Decorative awnings were created with a colorful abstracted fabric in orange, yellow, white, and lavender. Double doors open to a covered second floor porch overlooking a green space.

Custom vanity base in Full Overlay, Reno Style Drawer in Matching Maple with Bedrock Stain. Vanity Countertop is Everest Quartzite. Bench Area: Mouser/Centra Cabinetry with flush inset, Reno Style doors/drawers with Carbide paint. Custom wood top to match base moulding and benches. Toy Storage Area: Mouser/Centra Cabinetry with full overlay, Reno door style with Carbide paint. Open drawer storage with roll-out trays and custom floating shelves and base moulding.

Another aspect of the bunk bed room, showing additional nautical elements - the vintage oars (fitted with clothing hooks) and nautical flag print curtains. A big boy bedroom for a little boy, this modern take on a safari room combines a contemporary feel with mid century modern furniture. Although the room in small it provides ample play and relaxation and storage spaces, with two large custom build in closets, a secret teepee hideout and a reading/playing area.

A multi purpose room for the kids. This rooms serves as a hang out space, sleep over room with built in trundle bed, homework space with a custom desk and just a space for kids to get away from it all. Photography by Peter Rymwid.

Colorful Coastal Bedroom The boy who lives in this room is a Star Wars fanatic. Yet, infusing the space with a Star Wars theme would have kept the décor from feeling fresh for years to come since the boy would eventually outgrow his current obsession. Since it was still important to add something that nods to his affinity, We had the walls between the bookshelves covered with a Cole & Son wall covering in a star motif. The room is awash in tones of blue, yet We felt it was important to incorporate a couple unexpected elements that would add a bit of fun.
