We used a blush pink on the top portion of the walls, white wainscoting on the bottom, walnut colored engineered wood floors, installed a pink chandelier, and matched it all with pink and white herringbone curtains and area rugs.

Delaney Window Fashions LLCWhen the client spoke with the Delaney Window Fashions LLC workroom designer about the creation of a unique, Hawaiian-themed child’s bedroom, the bright pink and orange paint was already in place, along with the hibiscus floral fabric border. The impetus for the additional work was the transition from a baby’s room with a crib to a little girl’s room with a full-size bed. Although the room was started, it was far from complete.
With a limited amount of the client’s floral fabric, which had subsequently been discontinued, the designer created bedding and pillows and constructed a Hawaiian-themed bed canopy with lights. The homeowner wanted the bedding to be washable but not quilted and the bed crown to be light weight. A tailored, center-pleat bed skirt was created first. The remaining fabric, along with an accent fabric was used to create a comforter, envelope and bolster pillows. The comforter was created with two mitered corners; and micro-cording was purposely added around the middle section to hide the seam.The middle section was hand tacked to secure comforter layers for laundering.
To finish the bedding, a tiki hut-inspired bed crown was created, which was challenging because the material had to be light weight. Including LED garland added a
fun and whimsical element. With child safety in mind, shirred tulle panels were attached to the back and sides of the crown. In this way, the lights were visible, but not accessible to the child.
The project was a success, and the client loves the room. The child’s lighted tiki hut bed crown provided a cozy environment for nightly bedtime stories. It made for one happy little girl!
This project was applied for a competition.

Greene Designs LLCThis Parisian paradise was designed for a very special young girl. Her Mother contacted Greene Designs looking for someone to create the room her daughter had been dreaming about for years. Due to an accident when she was an infant she has had to endure hundreds of surgeries over her life. When I heard her story I knew she was deserving of something wonderful. Her Mother and I set out to create a room that has a touch of Parisian sophistication (a place they hope to visit soon), and the fun and whimsy of a pre-teen’s room. This bedroom includes a daybed with a trundle perfect for sleepovers, a charming nightstand with a bit of “bling”, a vanity where she can do her makeup, a dresser with a mirror, and a chandelier. The paint and accessories pulled the room together completing the Parisian design. I was so happy to be chosen to design a room for such a fun, sweet, and courageous young lady.

Studio LoïsPour cet appartement lumineux, qui se trouve dans un bâtiment qui fait l'angle entre deux rues, il fallait être créatif avec l'aménagement pour ne pas perdre d'espace. Nous avons ouvert le mur entre la cuisine et le séjour pour gagner en luminosité et pour créer un coin plus convivial. Dans la chambre, les murs en diagonale enfermaient la pièce. J'ai imaginé un tête de lit en forme triangulaire, ce qui crée l'impression de deux murs droits et qui cache une grande capacité de rangement. La cuisine et la salle de bains ont été entièrement remplacé et un nouveau parquet a été posé. Plusieurs meubles ont été dessiné sur mesure et fabriqué par un menuisier local.
