Native Plant ScapesDense Blazing Star is a pollen and nectar source, attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. It is the larval host for several moth species and the Painted Lady Butterfly (Vanessa cardui). Finches (and maybe other birds) eat the seeds.
A Touch of Dutch Landscaping & Garden ServicesOur client wanted to improve curb appeal at the front of their home and create a few focal points in the backyard. It was also critical that the new landscaping features be easy to maintain, as the homeowner has mobility issues.
We added raised flower beds with Navascape wallstone retaining walls that complimented the home’s exterior. We installed an additional flower bed around the backyard shed and created a focal point with a tree and additional small flower bed.

This is after one year of growth entering into the Fall season from late summer as well as a Fall photo.

Greenhouse to GardenThis is a small landscape refresh project that one of our customers completed in Whitby (Brooklin) Ontario. The front yard flower bed was re-edged with some new sod laid down in severe damaged areas, as well as some new accent flowers and a beautiful Japanese Maple. The rear yard was over seeded to repair the damaged lawn and 4 emerald cedars, 3 clematis, and a variety of ground plantings were inserted into the landscape. Within the next year or so, this landscape will establish itself and look AMAZING.
