The London Gardener LtdWe remodelled a garden we installed some 5 years earlier as the children had grown older and our client wanted an outdoor room to use as a gym, snug and have a separate area within the pod for garden storage. Podspace were commissioned to design a bespoke pod to fully utilise the width of the garden. We then worked our new planting around to give a generous lounge area in which to enjoy the sun, while still keeping the dining area close to the house. A wide path was used to connect the spaces and many of our original and now mature plants were kept. We added new planting borders which were planted with more structural and varied evergreens to create 'cloud' hedges.

Modernisierung des Hauses zeigten die Bauherren auch bei
Gestaltung des Gartens. Ich plante einen Hain aus Felsenbirnen,
den ich als Blickachse in die obligatorische Rasenfläche anlegte.
Von der Terrasse aus blickt die junge Familie durch die schirmartigen
Felsenbirnen auf das Heckentheater mit einer großzügigen naturnah
gestalteten Staudenfläche. Das überwiegend im Sommer blühende
Staudenbeet wurde durch die zwei vorhandenen Baumwurzeln ergänzt. Der üppige Lebensraum und das vielfältige Nahrungsangebot zieht
zahlreiche Insekten an.
Außergewöhnlich ist sicherlich der Einzug der sehr seltenen schwarzen Holzbiene, die in den Wurzeln nistet. Im Vorgarten pflanzten wir schmalkronige Wildbirnen und ebenfalls Insektenstauden.

Painted Fern Garden DesignWith the clients having already cleared most of the site, this front garden offered a blank canvas for designing a planting scheme. Ensuring the site was free of weeds, the soil was improved with organic matter so planting could get off to a good start. A combination of shrubs and perennials were supplemented by a range of bulbs, offering additional interest throughout the year in a small space. A colour scheme of violet blue and orange-yellow was selected, opposites on the colour wheel, but giving a vibrancy to the planting, whilst dark tones were added to give a richness.
The clients were novice gardeners so were looking for low maintenance and easy care plants whilst learning new skills and a developing passion for plants.
Two contemporary galvanised zinc planers in a zingy shade of teal were added to extend the areas of planting outside the front door and the existing driveway. They also added a much-needed shot of colour through the winter months.
Foliage had contrasting textures with plants such as Bergenia and Hydrangea quercifolia showing vibrant colour changes in leaf as the temperatures start to drop.
Varieties of plant were selected for their compact size so they would not require constant pruning and would sit well in their allotted space.
Big Rock LandscapingDesigning flower beds that match the aesthetic of the home, while adding color and texture is a delicate balance. By adding ornamental grasses, narrow pines trees and a variety of white based flowers strike that balance beautifully.
Pro-Land Landscape Construction Inc.Located in prestigious Rosedale in Toronto, this beautiful custom home by Leprevo Design-Build, needed a landscape to compliment the architecture. One material was used throughout the entire property to not take away from the home. A predominantly green planting scheme highlights the right areas and breaks up the hardscape. Simple, elegant and timeless.
Terrasse et Jardin de ParisInstallation d'une terrasse en composite effet bois gris, avec la création d'un bosquet de différents végétaux en floraison au fond de la cours. Par ailleurs, les végétaux peuvent grimper sur un miroir de 3m de hauteur qui permet de donner de la perspective et refléter la verrière afin de donner plus de charme.
A gauche, nous avons créer un bosquet de fleurs en hauteur avec la peinture noire matte de ce muret et l'installation d'un banc suspendu. Quant au mobilier, il vient de chez Fermob. Et surtout nous avons semer de la vrai pelouse pour amener la campagne à la ville, une vraie réussite ce projet, le résultat est un petit coup de cœur.
