Riviera Gardens. Architecte Paysagiste Côte d'AzurSitué sur un versant exposé à l'ouest, ce site est encerclé par un vaste bois. Une majestueuse bâtisse provençale est révélée au bout d'une longue allée carrossable en gravier, enlacée par une végétation abondante.
Les grands chênes remarquables, ainsi que les cyprès, les oliviers et les pins, procurent de merveilleuses superpositions au sein de la propriété. Après être passé à côté d'une roseraie encadrée par deux arches en fer forgé, et avoir traversé une cour ombragée, le chemin mène vers des terrasses étendues entourant une piscine, surplombant vallées et collines ondoyantes.
Une grande oliveraie complète la propriété – expression joyeuses de l'été dans le Pays de Fayence.

Surrounded by drought tolerant ground covers that can be mowed like a lawn but without the water. Gravel paths meander through this garden bordered with flowering drought tolerant perennials roses, lavender, blue spire sage, jasmine, pittosporum, rosemary, rockrose. The paths meander through the woods. Sitting areas are placed throughout this garden. Subtle garden lighting illuminates this garden creating a magical wonderland.

The garden design focused on verging wild, intermingled plant communities with the floor-to-ceiling windows of the family's living space to provide ongoing seasonal interest and visual diversity. Working closely with agronomists, aggregate substrates, calcium and humates were incorporated to ensure adequate drainage and soil health. Rapid stabilization of the very wet, narrow spaces was achieved with freely seeding Eupatorium coelestinum and plantings of stoloniferous and rhizomatous plants, such as Carex muskingumensis and Iris fulva, among cespitose clumps.

Native Edge LandscapeCustomer wanted to ditch their grass yard in favor of colorful native plants that would create a charming scene for friends and neighbors alike. They dreamed of a gathering space in their front yard that looked out over their native plantings, so we added a seating area with cafe lights and raised steel planters so that the plantings could be enjoyed while seated. Black star gravel was added for furniture and plant contrast, making them pop against the home and landscaping.
