A Lovely Home
The old kitchen had dark, dated cabinets and huge, empty soffits. We used bright white cabinets to brighten up the kitchen and make this small space feel much larger. The beautiful African Mahogany granite is so stunning it is like a piece of art, so we kept the backsplash simple with a lovely marble basketweave. Notice the lack of outlets, that is because they are all buried under the cabinets to keep the splash clean and uninterrupted. For the sink, instead of the traditional stainless, we chose a cool Kohler cast iron sink in a crackled white finish. We choose funky lighting and window treatments to add layers of texture and visual interest and finish this beautiful space.
