Want plantation shutters so bad for my sunroom!

Have tall windows with transom above - really wanted them so I could open top and leave bottom closed for privacy - sunroom on 3rd floor - so problem is tilt windows for cleaning - I cant block in order to clean. The windows are deep set - can they be installed and not block the opening of window ?

    Debbie, some shutter firms can use an offset hinge that pulls the shutter away from the window with an "extra" offset so sashes can be tilted in/out for cleaning and clear the shutters. I suggest you call local shutter firms until you find one that can accommodate your windows. Good luck. John
